I get the shot with my flu shot every year now. I realize it is highly personal to people if they want it, but I chose to get vac. I haven't had it; Jo hasn't had it either. Jo is constantly exposed to her workers, customers, and the owners, and some have had it, but she didn't catch it from them. The virus isn't as deadly as it was. Each variant seems to make it less toxic and less severe.

I participated in a study of the immune system response to Covid. As a result of tests on the antibodies in my blood, it was determined that I have never had covid in spite of being repeatedly exposed to dozens of people who had it. Does this make me unique? Far from it, probably 15 to 20 percent of the population have a similar immunity.

I ran out of the yard, leapt over a low retaining wall, and landed bad on an ankle. In the end I had about a dozen or so stings under the cast. First time I'd ever been stung, and on the plus side, I guess, sort of dealt with my own fears of a bad allergic reaction.
