Oh, What Fun (and, Let's Get FAWCking)

I have no doubt there is Hunger Games porn out there already, whether literary or visual. Just advance them in age a bit, and voila. :p

The cornucopia idea would be interesting. I could see using an online random generator for figuring out who gets what, then maybe writing a fanciful blurt on the thread describing how that particular writer got whatever it was they grabbed.

Sounds a bit like one of the sexual role-playing threads, though, or even a regular chain story. The alternative would be to do another mystery basket-like idea, but with different items assigned.

A-tisket, a-tasket, a words and pictures basket . . . I wrote a story to my man (woman) and on the way I posted it . . . (set to the very tune you're all hearing in your head right now).

Late night, or early morning, humor. Sorry. I'll go back to my corner.

This actually made me think of another idea. A dozen pictures, a dozen words, and each writer gets two of each, randomly determined. Or maybe one picture and two words.

Something to think about.

Could always do a location and a time period. Would almost require the writer do research.

Course I have to admit it wouldn't be a terribly popular option.

Something that would be good, a person in a location, make it random on the person and location. Doesn't have to be a specific person, unless it is celebrity. Instead something like soldier, cop and so forth in places like by a stream, dark alley so on so forth. Little more liberating for everyone than a picture.

Not me you understand, but I am not normal. ;)

There were elements of this in FAWC 2, and I don't want to do something that's too closely related to a recent challenge.

Oh well see if you had let me join for the second one I would know that. :p

Course I think as far as the last idea goes, I would do random picture and a listing of words that the writer chooses.

So... like... is everybody feeling this picture idea? And the "first and last sentence" idea? Cuz it seems like that's the popular deal, and I can say that I'd be interested in reading the entries for such a challenge.

Fawc on....

I'm leaning toward the picture idea at this point, and I get the feeling everyone else is just waiting to see what I pick.

The first/last sentence idea would be a different FAWC. No reason to combine it with the picture idea, I think.

As soon as the Halloween contest has closed for submissions, I'll post an "official" FAWC 3 thread.

FAWC on, indeed. ;)

In my best Twisted Sister voice:

I wanna FAWC! FAWC!
I wanna FAWC! FAWC!

You get the picture.

I'm coming down to the wire on my Halloween story, then I'll be ready for a quick FAWC, and then I'll be off for a month of NaNo.

Bring it on! ;)

(And what is the word minimum for Lit? For FAWC, since I only have time for a very short story, it would be fun to write a really really short one.)

750 is the minimum word count (unless it's changed and the writer's guidelines page hasn't been updated in a while).

I'm going to start a new thread for FAWC 3 here pretty soon. Just waiting to hear from someone concerning the picture we'll be using . . . ;)
