Nude Day 2011 Contest Support Thread

I’m sorry but I have to announce that I won’t be entering a story in this year’s NUDE DAY contest in spite of the contractual provisions of my ROYALTY contract.

It’s my own personal protest of what the LITEROTICA contest system has become.

This will be the first LITEROTICA themed contest in the last ten years that won’t have an entry from one of the TOP 40 “MOST FAVORITE” Authors on this site.

Maybe it’s time that the oggmans of our world start asking themselves why.

I felt it was my duty to stand with these titans and join the message that the LITEROTICA greats were sending:

It’s time to clean up the travesty the contest system has become.

james r scouries will stand with these men and women even if his ROYALTY receipts suffer.

And we’re not doing this for ourselves; instead we’ve taken this stand for the good of the vast LITEROTICA audience who has supported us all these years.

I didn't do too much Nude Day celebrating. There was some naked curling up and snuggling. Too bad it hadn't been the night before. Or last night's full moon. :catroar: I did get some fresh inspiration for Summer Lovin' out in nature though! ;)

I'm just glad to have finally completed something and submitted for the first time in seven months. Deadlines are good for something.

On the other hand, in the past when the bots came earlier, it put my vote average over the 4.5 mark so I got the red H, which I think attracts more readers.

Unless a sweep rolls through on the first couple of days your story is out, it probably won't make any difference. After that, any reads are probably coming from the contest page, and it doesn't display the Hs.

I thought of going with a massage, but her trauma was pretty fresh and the steamy scenes I figured were enough stress (albeit, the good kind) on her body. ;) I'd love to see what perspective you gave the subject.

I'm a slow-poke reading entries this time around, but my life has been pretty busy and fullfilling. This week things slow down a bit and I'm going to make time to read. The ones I've read thus far, I've really enjoyed.

Right now, I think I would be considered the favorite for that distinction. I have one with a score of about 3.73, but only 11 votes. :eek:
 
Kromen, same here. There are many more stories now! I had a mini-vac earlier today, just one vote difference. I can't believe that I'm already 10 pages into my Summer Lovin' story! But now it really is time for sleep. Gnight all. :)
