It must have been lower before the formal announcement. But I’m not upset. Just hitting 4.8 with 101 new followers is reward enough.

Oh wow - first time to get a placing and it’s in the iconic Nude Day contest. Congratulations @CupidStuntDotEXE and @iwatchus!

I’m honestly thrilled, and I’m also very proud of the story. I put a lot of hours into it and it was a fun writing process as the various musical pieces mentioned blasted around the house. Thanks @Nynah and @PennyThompson for the super-helpful beta reading.

I know there’s going to be discussions about the scores. We don’t always get to see the same information simultaneously, but I did notice that my story was at 4.89 last night after sweeps, and 4.90 about an hour ago. The other two winners were 4.92 and 4.91 at that time. I understand that it’s de rigueur to receive some loving 1-bombs after the announcements are made.
