are you a coder too? I'm just curious 'cause that's what I almost did after my CS degree and there are not a lot of women. I ended up doing Linux stuff instead which also doesn't have a lot of women.

Primarily the MS tech stack. Plus data programming languages.
But did my fair share a while ago on Linux boxes with Perl.

But also code java (capable but not an expert).
Angular for fe / be.
Tsql/plsql/python (pyspark etc)... for data.
Primarily data engineering now though.

The language i got the most comfortable with was Java outside of bash lol
Python makes sense for data.

My opinion that is about 5 or 10 years out of date!!! Moved from SE to DE.

Java and c#... similar to read. More so back in the day.
Easy to rewrite apps if the business was moving to MS or vice versa.
But c# has evolved now... a lot richer with the libraries.
