No Sleep Again

My insomnia seems to have returned this week and I don't know why.

Last night I had, at the most, 2 hours of sleep. (And I'm not even studying for any exams!)

I'm SOOOOO tired. After my first meeting of the day I'm going to the nearest Starbucks and buying their entire inventory.
 
I actually have this week - today is the one day I can't.

The only caffeinated drink I've touched this week is green tea - but its the japanese kind, which is fairly low in caffeine...

Starbucks roasts their coffee beans really dark, which means that the caffine content is mucho decreased.

Ok, remedies for insommnia:

Hot bath
herbal tea
masterbation
big fat joint

Not necessarily in that order.

To hell with chamomile (whoever she is), I think the bath with Lavy wouldn't help with going to sleep, but would sure make insomnia seem worthwhile.

Yeah, who in the hell is chamomile? If she wants to hop in the tub, too, I'm sure dilly won't be getting any sleep for days.

Its been ages since I've known where to acquire big fat joints - other than the one that's attached to my body.

No opportunity to slumber again, sweet or otherwise, till tonight. Meanwhile I'm going to get through this teleconference and then head to Starbucks. Caramel Macchiatto.
 
Chamomile tea, a shot of whisky and someone else to enjoy your 'big fat joint'?
 
Ambien works great for me! :)

Exercise is helpful too.

But as a fellow insomniac,I have found that it will run its course and nothing you do will make you sleep.

After the 4th or 5th day,I finally pass out and sleep.

Yes - lovetoread - proof is available... and yes, it will probably just need to run its course.
 
Sorry you can't sleep angel, rum works for me but then I take barbituates daily too.

According to my doc, if you lay in bed and can't get to sleep, get up. Do something to distract yourself from trying to go to sleep because if not it just becomes a battle which escalates stress and makes the problem worse.

Give me a yell, I'll stay up with you.

Benedryl and an orgasm or two always does the trick for me.

Yes.. I hate laying in bed doing nothing - such a waste of time...

I actually stayed up till 2am reading - since I had insomnia the night before - figuring I'd make sure I was good and tired - yet I lay awake till about 4:30am... *sigh*

Exercise - I ran from 6 top 7pm - 7.5 miles...

Nothing seems to be working this week.
