Well, first off, I don't hate Lance. I don't hate anyone on this board, although there are one or two I have no respect for, anyway...

No, I don't hate him, I just think he's the ultimate hypocrite.

He'll bitch for fifteen posts about some supposed mistreatment by somebody and then turn right around and do the exact same thing to them or someone else. Hearing him whine about ad hominem attacks and being mistreated by others is ridiculous.

I don't hate Lance, I find him to be a joke. He has turned into a joke on this board like many other posters before him. He has done it to himself through his own ridiculous antics.

The main reason that I have any dislike for Lance is summed up easily by one word which represents the overwhelming aspect he brings to this board:

Ok, so nobody really hates him. And nobody takes him serious. And everybody things he's a joke.

Why are there so many threads about him? Why does everyone jump down his throat with every post? Why does everyone invest so much time in him?

I think CBM is a waste of space piece of shit, but I'd rather slit my wrists before I start an actual thread about him. I see something that I disagree with him about or where I think he's a moron and I post and state my opinion. It happens maybe 3 or 4 times a week on average (more in the beginning... kinda slowing down now).

So I kinda gotta wonder if there isn't more to it... shrug.

I take Lance seriously on matters of the (Canadian) law, and listen to him when he is talking about Canadian matters.

I think his ideas about the social dynamics of this board are a joke. He's not in "the Clique" (whatever he deems that to consist of) so he attacks it. It's been done by a hundred people who alienated themselves from the majority of people on the board and it'll happen again.

Nothing new.

Kidding aside. I know you think I took a side and you think I'm a Lance Supporter. But truthfully, I never took a side. Did I think Lance had a valid opinion? Yes. I also thought they other side did too. I also happen to think there were some matters where Lance was wrong. But guess what... i thought they were wrong sometimes too.

I really thought it was stupid for both sides to blow it up like they did. It was childish. And it was really stupid for people to leave. But that was their choice. But I don't hate Lance for that. Why would I? He has just as much right to give his opinions and thoughts... as do you.

So again, why do ya'll hate Lance?

I agree I think he's very intelligent and I do find him entertaining. Does he stir the shit? Yeah. But we all do from time to time. Does he win alot of arguments? Yes I think he does. Does he fight fair? What's that? Everything is fair in a fight.


I just find it odd that some many people put so much effort into one person.

The Active Top Ten Posters and their synchophants typically identify someone they want to beat up...it's how & why they are here and have been here so long. A simple ego stroke.

Most often, they can bash and pigeon-hole a poster like Frimost with a few catch-phrases and emerge from lurk mode every so often when they are bored to eviscerate him. (they rarely target a woman)

Let's see each of them start 6 threads in the next 6 days they are here...real ones...about anything current and of interest to the people here: Arms inspections, the UN, the economy, the upping of Ford's stake in Mazda to 57%, this day in history....anything....and keep them on Page 1 for a day at a time.

I submit they cannot do it without insulting another poster.

That's their real problem...it's not about *who* they hate....it's just about hate.

Me? I think he's alright. This is the internet... I wouldn't exactly call him a friend. There's like one person here that I would call a friend and that's because I've met them in real life. I certainly don't dislike or hate him. I also wouldn't say I'm a Lance Supporter or Booster (as much as some people like to think I am... we just happen to have been enemies of the same people at one point in time).


I tell ya what though... when it comes to a battle of the minds... I'll pick Lance 8 times out of 10 against almost anyone here. Sorry... but that's just what I think.

Because it's fun. Lance is just another in a long line of idiots who think they are more than they actually are. It's entertaining to see someone with such a high opinion of themselves humbled.

I agree with all of the above except the conclusion. I think it worded when he first got to the general board and people didn't see through his act yet. Now I'd say he is just a "manipulator wannabe."
