That new rule at literotica isn't a direct result of lavender and bc's requests to be removed. It is a direct result of idiots not having a good reason to need to have this done, and pestering them about it.

When I first came here I could not think of a name that would be a suitable one, a sexy one maybe, and one that was me, without using the one's that could be a pretty big give away of who I am to certain people. Well, as a result I let my husband pick my name and OMG! IT was atrociously sexy, but so many people automatically disrespected me and assumed I was a dumb slutty bitch because of it. Well, needless to say after a long struggle of trying to make a place for myself here, I realized that I didn't want to remain here as that name because the mix of horny men groping at me constantly, and the jealous women being cunts to me made me feel useless. I was here for a reason and that reason was being overshadowed by a sexy name. It was sad also because it showed the true hypocrisy of so many people in the end, but it is okay, because I don't worry about that. People grow, and we all start out misled.
Okay, so I wanted out, but I didn't just want out, I wanted my name gone. I didn't have my posts deleted so much as I did have my membername deleted from the database. No one noticed, and not one stirred up a kick. It was all fine. Lit was on a different deal then and I don't know if it was hard or what for them to do, but they complied VERY nicely.
The recent drama on the bb is only drama because we make it that way.
If you believe that a person should have the right to make changes to their lives, making good of the past, by doing right in the future, then you'll have enough respect for laurel and the tech crew, lavender and bc to not drag this through the mud anymore, and to see that the rule is a result of stupid poking at this topic, and not because of lavender and bc.
Laurel and Manu care about their members. They've shown it on many occasions and would bend over backwards to help you if you are a good person, and you are respectful. They will not cater to every little bullshit whim we have.
It is totally disrespectful to continue making this into a bigger orddeal.
