i broke up with my long term boyfriend exactly a month ago. Now he's dating someone else, and although i have no feelings for him anymore, how do i control the horrible thoughts that haunt my head? (i.e. him kissing someone else)

Contradiction here! You say you have no feelings for him and yet you're haunted by him kissing someone else.

It's perfectly okay to still have SOME lingering feelings for him though. It's how you act with these feelings that make the difference. A twinge of jealousy is perfectly normal. Experience it and accept the fact that you did care at one point. It's time to move on though.

Occupy your time with things. It's time to be selfish & do things for yourself. Do those things you've always wanted to do for yourself. While I disagree with BoobsNBrains' assessment to go out & have rebound sex (What does it prove about your self worth? That you can go get laid? That you're a simple fuck slut??), take on more activities that will get you to meet other people. Interact more with other people; let them know you're single.

If you're inclined to date immediately, then do so but no need to jump back into a relationship so soon. You're still healing from this last relationship. Give yourself the chance to heal. Acknowledge the pain and the uncertainty that he might be someone else's love. Realize that with time, this feeling will soon pass.

Be patient with yourself. Let your self heal and all will be fine soon. Good luck.:rose:

CC5, I agree with what Lust E. has said. There is no point in finding the first available cock and fucking it to make yourself feel better. This is a self defeating action because after you've persued this coarse, you're going to be in the same position as you started out in, if not a worse one. Forget it, its not worth the ramifications that go along with it. Trust me, I've been there, done that, got over it........

-kym- Wishing the best for CC5 :rose:
