Kotori, I don't think I'm overly hard on myself- just realistic.

Just Pet, You're right- it can be devastating, but so far, I've done ok. The most recent pic I put is got the lowest rating, and the funny thing is that I thought it was a better pic of me than the other ones I've had up.

I have two pics up. On one, I'm in the high 8s. On the other, I'm in the low 9s. This is the first pic up where I've been below a 9. The funny thing is, I was so offended when I saw that I was in the 8s, yet I really don't think that I'm anywhere near a 9. I really should be happy that I'm even in the 8s. Weird, huh.

What happens to your self esteem when you get older and your marks drop to 7's or lower due to age? Maybe those of us who aren't close to an 8 are just having a hard time relating to this thread.

Chey, it's really all in fun. My self-esteem does not depend on a bunch of 20-something-year-olds rating my pics. I just got so used to having a high rating with my other pics that I got pissy when it dropped.

You can opt to meet people based solely on one picture and a few buzz words

I am in my late 40s and my scores are pretty high
