My girlfriend is sick

Last night she was complaining about how the side of her stomach hurt her. I asked her what side and she said her right side down kind of low. I thought I might have been her apendix or something with her ovaries, so she asked around and found a girl at her school who's mom is a gyno.

Long story short she ended up at the hospital last night and did not get home till 4 am.

They did a lot of tests and gave her some pain pills plus some other meds. They think it is something to do with her ovaries but I am not sure what exactly.

I am going over to see her in a little while and see how she is doing. I am really worried and nervous about her. She was barely alive when she was born and had to go through a ton of surgery plus several months in an incubator in order to survive.

I wake up sometimes at night when she is there to make sure she is ok. I make sure she is breathing ok and check her pulse.
I don't think she even knows I do that. I mean she has always said she is fine now and has no complications from it besides her hearing.

I guess I am just a little scared and wanted to get it off my chest some.

So any well wishes, prayers or whatever your personal philosophy thinks is good would be appreciated.

I will send a prayer up tonight for her. Hopefully it's nothing serious, and she's back to her normal self in no time.

Keep your hopes up, and give her lot's of love and reassurance.

Well I just spend the whole weekend with her and she is ok. There was a problem with one of her ovaries that caused it to swell and be very painful. The disorder is apperently not entirely uncommon for women to get, but I had never heard of it before.

The hospital gaver her some really good pain killers that as she said, "sent her into a happy place."


The pain killers made the swelling go down and she was only out of it for about 2 days. If she has any problems next month she will have to go back to the hospital for more tests and observation. She says she is ok and right now is only a little tender right there but not painful anymore. She is just hoping that she does not have to go back to the hospital next month. She can't stand hospitals because of all the bad experiences she has had in them.

Nope sorry out of happy pills. She only had enough for 48 hours. I forget the name of the pills too. Something very long, two words, hypenated and maybe a dozen sylabuls.
