What constitutes cheating varies from couple to couple. Behavior that my husband and I are okay with might be completely unacceptable to another couple, and vice versa.

This is exactly what I think too. It all depends on what you and your significant other are comfortable with. Some people think threesomes are cheating; it's all personal.

I guess you have to decided what is cheating. In a mutual relationship each party must have a different definition.

If my wife isn't there with me, and she hasn't given me permission to go alone, then I'd call it cheating. I've gone to masturbation parties and circle jerks with my wife, and we've jerked each other off and jerked off other people together, but I don't think she'd like me to go to one without her.

Anything that's done without the consent of one's partner, or done behind the back of their parnter that involves ANY sort of sexual activity is cheating. A "circle jerk" means you are giving sexual gratification and recieving sexual gratification from someone other than your partner. If that's done without her express consent or is done and then hidden from her, that's cheating. At least, that's how *I* see it.

This has been a "hot" topic in this household recently. The wife is a rather private person and not sexually expermentationally. She informed me that she would be willing to attend a masterbation party but not necessarily paticipate. I do respect her wishes and wouldn't pressure her either way.

Without her approval and/or presents, I would not attend one either. Only time and opportunity will write the end of this story.
