As much as I love that song, I've never gotten around to buying any Aphex Twin.

Have you ever seen the video for that song? It's scary as all fuck.

If I haven't said it already....

You are awesome!

I was driving back home to Seattle a few years back, and the pass was snowy as hell. I followed a semi at about 20 miles an hour to stay in his tracks the whole time.

The whole time I was doing that, I kept Influx on repeat. The part where he goes into the female singing "We are a part of those concerned with change", and then goes into that phenomenaly long scratch.

Shit makes me fucking weak in my knees.

So if you like that tune have you heard David Holmes - 69 Police? same type of vibe...

(you can limewire that)

that set I posted imagine a more beefed up version of that...more emotional...more drawn out...and listen to it with an open mind....

Yes, I love it.

Have you seen the Lamb one for B-line?

That scares me more.

Heard of it, haven't heard it.

I'll see if I can find it on soulseek or newsgroups.

Yeah, I'm about the same. I love them for background, but not as a focus. It's really great when I'm doing homework for my math courses and the like.

I'm the same with The For Carnation.

Other than "Music has the right to Children" I have not been keeping-up with them.

Ugly Cassanova---Sharpen your teeth.

I actually saw the very first Ugly Cassanova show, when Isaac just played solo. He opened up for Dub Narcotic Sound System.

I liked the album when it came out, but quickly forgot about it.

To bad MM's last album was such a turd.

Listen to a few Underworld albums then report back. thanks for playing though.

I have Beacoup Fish with the bonus CD, didnt measure up to the Chemicals.

That band has never seemed interesting to me. I think I heard a track or two of theirs once, but it wasn't memorable.

The Chems last album was total garbage. Beacuoup is incredible. Darren left and they are not the same, no matter what anyone says...

Darren played for us one night...and was begging for a bag at 10 am the next day....

One of teh best Guitarist there is Monte Montgomery. I've seen him three times now at an acoustioc venuse here in Houston called The Mucky Duck and have walked away shaking my head that anyone can do that with a guitar.. He's gonna be here again Dec.29 and a bunch of us are going..

Ok, one more I forgot about....

David Axelrod.

When I worked at a record store years ago, the owner really turned me onto his work, both albums he has produced/arranged, and his own works.

His shit is just fucking breathtaking.

My favourite off that is Winjer, but I was meaning the Chems Surrender... most noticably Asleep from Day... but I am a major female vocal fan.

Asleep from day was done by Beth Orton...check out her stuff....god she has a voice....

I should check out Orton again.

Last time I ever heard anything of hers was "She cries your name". That seemed like years ago.

No it was not, it was done by Hope Sandorval (Mazzy Star) and I have all of Beths stuff, and seen her in concert.
