Music Snobs....(check in here)

your telling me not to take life so seriously after suggesting i be banned from the -internet messageboard- conversation strikes me as just a tad ironic.

oh, right, so the fact that there were no quotes of course means that i was just making a statement about electronic music, out of the blue, without any particular context whatsoever.

honey you may have tourettes but we don't -all- randomly spout out nonsense. =)

I see I got your panties in a twist. how random is it to defend something I feel strongly about? not random at all...

don't worry, we still think you're a music snob. you're reputation is intact. carry on.

*smiles* and feeling strongly about people commenting about techno on a porn board isn't taking life too seriously at all, no, of course not...

as to panties, i'm not wearing any, but thanks for caring, and the randomness need neither be continuous nor specifically this occasion. i'm certain you understood the point i was trying to make, though.

i'm not a music snob. if you'd read this thread, you'd have noticed the part where i said in very large font that i am not a music snob. :)

i'm off to bed. have a lovely night, and to everyone else, too.

smoochies, jack.

As much as I think Merrit is a good writer, his music bothers me for some reason.

I think I find his songs a tad too much, how do I say it.....quirky.

I absolutely agree about The Lips though. I've been on a "In A Priest Driven Ambulance" kick as of late. There's something about their cover of Wonderful World that makes me shiver.

dammit.

i was afraid the reference might not be obvious enough.

the magnetic fields. "i don't believe you." off of "i."

i really like "i wish i had an evil twin" off of that album.

You just scored points with me, cracker jack boy...

I'm listeneing to the 6ths right now, actually.

Their most recent album, yes... my least favorite of theirs but still good stuff. :catroar:

I guess I belong here. Only because I refuse to listen to radio and have the same 20 songs crammed down my throat every 2 hours.

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra under Jesús López-Cobos were at the top of their game.

I will listen to anything Renee Fleming sings.

The Emerson String Quartet's latest release has some serious problems.

Marry me?

I don't meet many people who even know them apart from Yoshimi.

Hi.

I like you more now. :)

Most people I know don't know anything past Yoshimi & Soft Bulletin. Which is depressing seeing as how Transmissions, In A Priest Driven Ambulance, Clouds Taste, and the rest of their back catalog is just as amazing.

Have you see the Lips documentary "Fearless Freaks" yet?
