How few people understand the concept of poly, probably because so few people talk about it. It’s especially funny since I think at least 75% of the people that post are probably legitimately poly on some level.
I know I didn’t understand the difference between poly and an open relationship 8 months ago and could have used a primer, now I feel like I could write one

Amazing how few actually know what they claim they know as well. It is easy to say you are something or like something while typing on a keyboard, not as easy to really be or do some things.

Very true. That’s sort of on the same line of how I feel about people who’ve only been a dom or sub online. It’s a whole other ballgame when it’s IRL.

You see a lot on here about being a dom, or being a sub, being Ploy or being a swinger. I have come to the realization that many people do not know what things actually are. And though they think or claim to be something, they actually are not and have little knowledge of it.
