A little example of how the truth was twisted.

She said "they refused to give Archie a title"
She meant They refused to change the constitution of a country just for me.

As she and Harry know full well, only children in a direct line of succession to the crown become princes and princesses. When The Queen dies and Charles becomes king, Archie will be a grandson of a reigning monarch and as such will automatically have the title Prince. To change this is, if we take the American equivalent, to amend the constitution. The monarch does not have the power to do this, it would take an act of parliament.

The thing is if this truth was twisted how many others were?

The claim that they married in private before the public ceremony has also been debunked by the Archbishop of Canterbury himself. He was supposed to have married them in a garden. All they did was exchange vows - the Church of England equivalent of getting engaged.

If her claim had been true, and the official record of the licence for the wedding and the wedding itself disproves that - if it had been true - the UK government could sue Harry and Meghan for the full cost of the 'fake' wedding. She didn't think that claim through...

I have a long dead bank account with the ANZ bank to give them to transfer my money, With a balance since 1962 of four Australian pounds (now eight Australian dollars), they are not going to get rich.

PS. Unfortunately for me, it was not an interest-earning account.
Unfortunately for them, they have to present the bank book at an ANZ branch in a Melbourne suburb.

The people who try that crossing are NOT genuine refugees. If they were, they could easily be settled in France. They have lied repeatedly to the French authorities about who they are, destroyed their papers, and want to come to the UK because we do not have an identity system as exists in the rest of Europe. A few, by no means the majority, are known criminals who had been expelled from the UK in the past. Would you let anyone, who is a proven liar, into your country? I suspect not.

I really don't understand the narrow, baseless thinking some people have that people who want privacy aren't allowed to choose to be interviewed. There is no contradiction here. In fact, it makes sense. You can want to be able to live in peace. You can want to speak up to tell your side of the story after months of lies being spread about you. You can want to talk about mental health issues to make it easier for other people to talk about them and get help for them. And then you can want to go back to your mostly private life.

Well, I really don’t understand the rude, thoughtless compulsion some people have to enter a conversation with an insult so do kindly fuck off.

But sure, it makes perfect sense for them to say we’ve parted ways with the royal duties and just want to live a life of quiet service and then drop a two hour incendiary Oprah bomb they know full well will burn for weeks and garner them a shit ton of celebrity attention for their upcoming and ongoing brand. While I do believe there is a kernel of truth in what you say, I don’t think overall they’re being noble, pun unintended. I’d like to think their hearts were pure, but maybe I’m cynical that way.

I am ok with mental health concerns and help being highlighted and normalized.

And if you are someone that the media wants to follow, making occasional appearances can satisfy their need and keep them from (for the most part) following you around. By choosing the occasional interview or public appearance, you get to choose when you're in the public eye, and you have a better chance of living a mostly private life the rest of the time.
But some people are going to ignore all that and continue bashing them for choosing to be interviewed.

LOL, you act like they had a intimate little sit down to chat about what they’ve been up to lately so the fan base can get their quarterly hit. Given that interview they aren’t really geared up to live a “private” life yet. That’s not who they are at this point. Maybe they’ll settle down to a quieter philanthropy with time, but celebrity is their money maker at present.

The thing about being xalled racist is that no proof has to be offered by the accuser, who claimed my posts about illegal immigrants were racist when there is NOTHING in them about the race or ethnicity of those paying people smugglers to cross the channel.

But the person accused has no defence. There is nothing I could say about my real life or the work I have done and do with immigrant families, that would convince the accuser. He would just say I was lying.

So all I can say is that those who accuse me are far more racist than I have ever, inadvertently been - so just sod off!
