I haven't been there since I was a kid. I really should get up there, it's only a hop, skip and jump, and I remember how beautiful it was.

No fishies ... the wind made the waves big, and big waves make for seasick fishermen & women. So, we stayed at the dock and drank beer

Chocorua is worth a try. I have done a lot of the climbs in NH and it is still my favorite. It's a bit off the beaten path and quite beautiful. Last time I was there a dog adpoted us at the base and stayed with us all the way up and down, doing way more distance than we did as it ran all over the place. At the base it adopted another group who were on their way up and it looked like it was going to do that same ting with them. Amazing.

Hopefully some fishies tomorrow. Looks like the calm before the storm if the marine forecast is correct. Then the boat has to come out on Sunday before the storm hits.

Went 20 miles out on Saturday and it was beautiful. Talk about the calm before the storm. We caught so many cod and hadock that I was sore the next day, but most were small. Also had a pod of tuna pop up about 1/4 of a mile from us. It was exciting as we tried to get on top of them to no avail. As we heading in it was obvious that things were changing fast. Glad we hit the dock when we did.
Lit fishing trip next year I think
