I liked... what was his name Bugsy? Mugsy?? the lil guy.

Larry Bird could've been my uncle. Long shot, yes, but it's true.
My aunt went out with girlfriends (when she was younger, obviously) to a bar in Boston when Larry Bird just started with the Celtics. They were all having a blast. Well, she began flirting and dancing with this guy and having a grand ol' time. When she went back to her girlfriends, they all were excited and said 'Do you know who that is??' to which she replied with no. They told her it was Larry Bird. My aunt, not a sports fan whatsoever, had no clue. But she liked him and went back to dancing with him. Later on, he asked her if she knew who he was... and becoming offended when she didn't, he never asked for her number.

If only she were a sports fan! lol
 
LOL cool story you could have been related to Larry Bird! Ya muggsy Boogs I think was the little guys name :)

That's right! Forgot about that....

I'm remembering the ol' knee high tube socks players used to wear in the 80s. LOL
 
I used to sit on a beanbag, in a diaper, thumb in mouth...watching them. Tells you how old I am. LOL
 
Aurora, I am impressed ! Remembering Larry is one thing but remembering Mugsy Bogues is incredible - what a woman you are !!!!! You just 10x sexier in my mind!

Hells yeah - I watched the Celtics religiously when it was all about the GAME rather than being a celebrity. Don't get me wrong, I watch basketball now, but I loved the sport when I was younger. I think it meant something more than it does now to people.

Just my opinion. :)
