You'll find that this thread has a long history about being on topic and not wavering to far. It's part of it's appeal. Sure there are times when it jumps the rails a bit but the citizens of Litiquette-ville have always understood when enough is enough. I'm sure there are better suited threads for a party.

I thought I was getting here just in time for a party, and I was already dressed for it (See avatar over <------- there). Wah. And I was going to bring what I bring to Lit - myself!
To make Chained happy, I'll go back to the topic of the day - like everyone else, I bring myself to Lit. I don't bring all of myself, however, just the best parts. I don't bring the woman who has to be the alpha bitch at the office. I don't bring the woman that men don't pay any attention to when they pass her on the street. And I don't bring the woman who can sometimes get depressed because life hasn't turned out the way I wanted. I bring the girl who loves to flirt and joke and giggle and drive guys crazy and have fun girlfriends who plot all kinds of mischief. I bring the girl who can be kind and caring without worrying that I'll get screwed over and stabbed in the back, as long as I'm careful about the company I keep. I bring the girl and woman I enjoy being able to be, and I'm free to be that woman here.

I think that's part of what's so addictive about Lit. We only have to be who we are without the other faces we have to put on in real life sometimes. Kind of the opposite of what some people do, though. They put on a fake face here instead of their real one.
