Good morning Litiquette-ville. Did everyone sleep well last night? Rested for a big day today? We all love spontaneity, and tried to avoid planning events here at Lit. But sometimes it's a necessary evil. What other necessary evils do you put up with for the sake of a better Lit experience?

I got quite good with timezones. I know who of my friends are some hours ahead of me and who are behind me and how much the difference is.

Geez, I go on a cycle of travel and I come back to salacious Fitbit's and hairy asses? LOL

For me, Lit is entirely spontaneous, which is how I enjoy it. It is kind of like the corner bar where you can stop in for a drink when you feel like it, with no strings attached.

:nana: <----- that's the Friday happy dance.

Are you dancing because the work week is over or because your awesome weekend is just ahead? If there was a Lit party near your home, would you go? If you are here without knowledge of a partner, would you try and come up with an excuse to attend? Or for you, would it sound like a fun concept but there's no way you'd ever go.

Dancing because the weekend is just ahead!
And because I love asses. When they are silent.

I think I would go to a Lit-party. Is "I am meeting some people I know a bit" an excuse?

I hate that damned banana <----- that's the Friday happy dance.

Oh I'd go like a shot! Would we all go naked and have lots of sex? I'd like to start my weekend with a bang

Well I am glad we like the same bar. ;)

I actually get more excited about Monday- hubby goes back to work, kids go back to school. Weekends are crazy and I have to play the good attentive wife. Yeah, lets drag all the kids to home depot, that sounds like SO much fun.

Not to mention I get zero lit time over the weekend. We are going to horse races on sat if the weather holds out. They say we could have some nasty weather, wide spread tornadoes so if that is the case we will just stay here and camp out in the bathtub.

I'll go if she goes! That sounds like fun.

I don't know. I would go for sure if I was meeting one Liter but a whole group... might be a little scary. Can you guarantee it would not be a sausage fest? If it was equal parts Lit girls to Lit guys I would go. I would have to lie yes, but I could blame in on a GNO or something.

Would you Chained?

I feel the same way....I like Mondays as well. Weekends are when we try to cram everything in and they get crazy hectic.

Lit party..oh yes.....I'd have to lie through my teeth but I'd go.

I'd love to go to a Lit party. My excise would be camping in the woods all weekend. :D

Could we maybe go together and one of us could peek through the windows first?

I probably would go along. I'm always curious about meeting people who are interesting and unconventional, and I'm allowed out unconditionally. It's likely, though, that I'd spend most of my time in the kitchen helping with the washing-up -- especially if I started to blush too much.

Parties still need people who help out in the kitchen, don't they? :D

No, that doesn't interest me.

hmm.. I'm dancing because I like bananas. My work week isn't the typical Monday through Friday thing so it's rarely about work. I do like them because I can do things with my family that span longer than a few hours. Even though they're older, we still have board game challenges, head to the zoo, catch ballgames, etc.

That whole "Lit party near my home" thing..
I don't meet a lot of people who say "I can't wait to party in Cleveland" so I don't really think it will ever be an issue ;)

Yes!! We will stalk until it feels safe to enter. And if it doesn't feel right we can go somewhere else. hehe

Really? I'd love to hear more about how that works, in reality. So your wife would not care if you wanted to go alone, to meet a bunch of women from a porn site? Do you allow her the same freedom??

Ooww! Such questions - good shooting Sis :)

Depends on who was going. I dont answer to anyone so no reason to hide or lie.

Yes, really! We tend to tell each other what we're doing, but neither of us feels obliged to do so. If this (unlikely) scenario were to arise, then I probably would tell my wife that I was going to a party with people from an erotic fiction site. She might want to come along too (and I'd love that!). If she didn't, though, then I'm certain that she would be comfortable about me going on my own.

The same would apply in reverse. Indeed, I enjoy the thought of my wife taking herself along to racy events. If she felt the desire to do so, then I imagine that I would be a beneficiary later on!

Let me turn the question around. Would it be worth me worrying about my wife going off to unspecified events (and vice versa)? If there was anything untoward happening, then presumably I would either find out in due course or I would remain blissfully ignorant. My wife and I have same attitude on this. Perhaps it's naïve of us both, but we find it preferable to the possibility of unfounded suspicion and jealousy.

I must say that I didn't expect my remarks to be (apparently) contentious. I hope that I've clarified them! :)

Sounds like a very open and trusting relationship! Bravo!

Thank you for taking the time to respond. :rose:

on the contrary. I find them refreshing.

I agree, refreshing, and alluring and I am more than a wee bit jealous my relationship is not like that.

You're welcome! It sounds as if I'm a lucky guy (well... I knew that!). :)

I'm still looking for an answer to my question:

Parties still need people who help out in the kitchen, don't they? :D
You can chain me to the sink if you like. I just like to have a clear role at a party, as an aid to small talk. Hopefully I'm not alone in that. :)

LOL... You will be lucky if one of the women here doesn't drag you down the hall and lock you in a bedroom. But hey, at least you will know your role it that happens.

hehe

That's never happened to me at a party before. I've just been the shy and enigmatic washing-up guy. Maybe the Lit parties are different. :)

Yeah... I'm good at reading bedtime stories and administering foot massages. What more could a woman at the party want from me? :D

I can think of a few other things that might be nice. I highly suggest you check out the sistersluts thread for a more detailed run down.
