Some of the meanness here is needless...we're here to have fun, right? But some come here just to cause drama.

The cliques piss me off, too. There are some people here who speak to only a few people, ignore others, talk to only men or only women, etc. It's annoying to have your posts ignored or skipped over so someone can leapfrog to someone else. How hard is it to be nice???

During the week I have Uni and work so I can post every so often in between reading endless pieces of literature or chipping away at assignments.

For me the weekend is the only time I really have free and away from a computer. Try to take advantage, head off with friends and just general fun and chilling out. Ends up being a Lit free zone

Depends on my schedule, and my mood. I usually check in at least once on the weekends, sometimes post, sometimes not. Sometimes I have time weekend mornings before the house is awake, and I sneak on.

My work doesn't revolve as heavily around weekends as a normal Monday to Friday, so I tend to weave in and out of Lit when I have the time and the mood strikes. I do look forward to the weekends, just not with the intensity I did years ago, when I was in a routine work schedule.

Often enough. If the overall tone in the thread is not one I am interested in participating in, even if there is an interesting comment, I'll skip to a different, more amiable thread. Lots of options on Lit.
