Many times.
I often think there is no point in sharing.
But if I am provoked enough I do post.
Like now !

Good morning Litiquette-izans. How often do you see something posted, have a thought to share but decide you'd rather not enter the fray?

I skip more than I post. Usually someone else has voiced my opinion more eloquently. In the case of poking in where something has irritated me...only once have I been vocal.

Lots of times it's whether or not I want to invest the time and effort. Yeah, I know posting something is sooooo hard, lol. Sometimes if I can't be here for a back and forth that could follow I won't. The discussion is fun.

I bite my tongue way more than not, because I'm reminded daily from the Lit do gooders how the PG is supposed to be fun and my poking would come off as more than sarcasm, and probably downright mean. So I refrain...sigh.

Often I gauge whether I'm going to hit send is by rereading it a couple times and then most likely deleting. I rarely imbibe, but every so often I will, and it makes me lippy. What I really should do is use my ignore option more so my Lit world will serve up less annoying reading material.

Don't be afraid to be an a-hole and let it out...I could use the company. :)

IMO, evenings here have gotten so ridiculous that I peruse the General Board....it's less annoying.:)

Often...I'm a Lit do gooder and I don't care to participate in drama. It doesn't do anything for me, and the best way to avoid it is to step away and go have fun somewhere else on the board.

Exactly! And they don't care when I'm mean.

It's not that I'm afraid to, it's just that people take it so deeply. As if some Internet stranger could really hurt their feelings. And the umpteen comments about thread love jacking seems to make no difference, another opinion isn't going to turn the light on.

Come and vent on me....I can handle it;)

I know... but sometimes I can't help saying something. In a perfect world we would all rise up and slay them....but since it's not, we'll have to stick to belittling them in hopes that they'll stop acting like really weird tools. :)

Agree. My new approach will be if I am on a board and it starts, just tell them blatantly to stop. Otherwise, whatever. I suppose if you need to demonstrate you are fuck worthy in public, who am I to get in the way of the esteem building activity.

Since I come here to escape stress, drama, and pettiness, I turn and walk away from it here. This is my fantasy world after all, the one place where I have control, so I don't give it over to troublemakers.

If it's not fun....why be here?
Let's walk into the wakeful dream together.

So who are the troublemakers in your opinion? The people that point out the obnoxious behavior or the ones that could very easily start their own thread and keep it there so we can put them on ignore?

Ah, the chicken or the egg...idk Slinger, I'd say live and let live, but you might call me a pussy :D

That was my thought, you said it better. Why would I be the troublemaker because I'm just voicing what everyone else is thinking?

I should just go move to the How To forum, so I can tell people what to do. :D

I wasn't saying people who point out obnoxious behavior are necessarily troublemakers. It's just that interacting with that gives it more attention, and if you're talking about someone being rude or assinine, then you've just added fuel to the fire, most likely.

If however, by obnoxious you mean lovey-dovey, I say leave them alone, let them be happy. I personally am not bothered by it. In fact, I sometimes feel a pang of jealousy. I would love to find that one person. I' m not expecting that, but dang, if it happens, what a wonderful surprise.

And yes Slinger, ik you were just playin

Thank you Slinger, eric60red grossed me the hell out yesterday over there, I'm giving the boobies a temporary break.

That guy is spectacularly fucking weird.. I'm surprised it took that long.

I couldn't care less if they feel that way or not, why not find your own place here and just go to town on it? Simple.

Personally....when I see it I think this:

I agree. :rose: Don't mind Slinger, he hasn't had his dose of NP today. :D

Jealousy isn't what I emote, it's more 'damn! Aren't people embarrassed anymore'? Finding someone is one thing, but letting others in on every fleeting thought they have is another.

I've known all along, it's just the first time it was directed at me.
