Speaking of church, has everyone voted in Chains poll?![]()
I have...And I am sorry I voted no.I don't believe in Fictional characters.
I don't care whether people go to church or not. Many go because they always have, because its expected of them
I care whether they do anything to make things better for other people the rest of the bloody week, otherwise its plain hypocrisy
And lots of appalling things have been said and done in the name of the church - I care whether people know the difference and use their own conscience
Hmmm.
Growing up, I never questioned church. Our family had our own pew, we went to church on Sundays, Wednesdays, & then there was Awana.
The first time I took control of my own life, I realized there was more than one way to believe & worship...My God doesn't dwell in a brick building...he is everywhere, and he is different things to different people.
As May I stated, what is done the rest of the week is of more importance.
What humankindness will you spread today?
The problem with this question is with the intent of PMs. Some people send friendly PMs and exchange back and forth on a regular basis with the intent on it being nothing more than fun playful banter. If it ever progresses to more than that, great. Others send PMs with the hope that it will immediately become something more. What it the other only wants a friendship of playful banter and nothing more?
A few exchanges isn't an automatic invitation for something more. I think people can stay friendly and exchange back and forth for a very long time. If responses aren't immediate, so be it. Also, just because a person is online, it does not mean you both have to be replying to PMs as well. Sometimes I reply to PMs when I'm not playing in the forums. It allows me to write a much more thoughtful in depth message.
Was wondering when that would come up.New thought....
There a a few Lit couples that I know of here, but I know there's many more.
Is it common practice to open up your PM's so the other has access to them? I had never heard of that till today.

Hear hear.I figured this might end up here.
I obviously can't speak for other couples.
I share some of mine with LTD, but I don't forward them. I just copy/paste them into our YIM conversation. The asinine one-liners, the stupid ones that make me roll my eyes, and the ones that pay him a compliment. The back and forth banter with friends, no, I do not share those. I also do not share anything personal, that is told to me in confidence. He does not have free range or access to them. I figure if someone had something to say to him, they'd PM him.
I find the whole "couple" situations fascinating - trying to work out who's playing, who's serious, which are online and which crossover
It's rather beautiful watching the to and fro and the genuine care expressed
I do wonder whether the voyeuristic element adds to the relationships

You wrote a long post on another thread that took my breath away
I didn't know who your partner was at the time and it made me wonder
I can see how you fit together![]()
