MayI, that was beautiful.

I don't expect a love like that. But what I've come to understand over the last year is that everyone and every relationship has a different definition of love. It is so hard to describe, because it's something you only really, truly feel. And there are just no words to adequately describe it.

This is the post that started it all. It started as a friendship and very quickly morphed from there. Neither of us was looking or wanting anything other than a human connection. The feelings and emotions blindsided both of us until we realized one day how well-suited we are for each other.

I was incredibly moving....it touched a lot of us, as you can see.:rose:

I was sitting there, completely frustrated because I felt that I couldn't convey what I was feeling/thinking adequately enough. I'm thankful you all took the time to read such a long post. :rose:

Having taken a bit of time away, coming back there seem to be more people pairing off here.
I doubt that's a good or bad thing, just what some people are happy with.
Speaking for myself when something goes from friendly banter to being real life personal it goes off the boards almost entirely. There may be the odd message or post for fun but by far the greater part of the 'iceberg' is below the water line. Again, that's just me and my comfort level. It means I can be freer in what I say, not worry about the fact that everything is public and just talk.
That being said, even if I can't imagine broadcasting my relationships I would certainly never give anyone my passwords to this or any other account. My messages or email are just that--mine. If there's so little trust there that one of us feels like that's necessary then what the hell are we even doing?
A very dear friend of mine used to PM with someone who was aware that he was 'involved' with me (email, PM, messenger.) She asked him not just for my screen name but for my actual name. Of course he told me but that's what I consider over the line. If he and I aren't doing something publicly then pestering him for info about the person who was getting more attention than she was? That's a step or three too far.
There are some wonderful people here. There are also lots of ways to get your feelings hurt.

I read your lovely post too. It even made my Grinch of a heart melt.

Shut up? No. Never.

You're a lovely woman, photograph. :)

Well, thank you. I'm sure there are those that disagree with you though.

I am who I am. I spent a lot of time trying to change that, hide it to please everyone else.

I'm done with that though. I'm done trying to fit society's mold of who I should be, and I'm much happier now.

Well, if you're done with it, then you shouldn't mind me saying that all those people that think you aren't a lovely woman can go take a long walk off a short pier.

You are who you are. Who you are happens to be beautiful.

I can't imagine dictating to other people do.

What is right for one couple is not right for another couple and so on.

For a place that is so free about sex there sure is a lot of dictating going on.

There are several things I don't particularly appreciate on here.

However, I realize different people, different needs.

Not my place to tell anyone how they should live or interpret their relationships or actions. I sure as hell not going to have any one dictate mine.

People seem to forget there is an ignore function.

I found my life became infinitely happier when I stopped giving a damn what people think.

Way less stress and anxiety.

Not that I don't care what people important to me think, that is different.

But that is a very short list.

Thank you, again.

Somewhat random tangent, but the word beautiful always makes me blush. It also triggers an emotional response, almost to tears. Every.single.time.

My ex spent 9 years trying to make into his ideal woman. It's just not who I am, and someone I couldn't be. I've grown a lot over the last year.

You shouldn't change someone. You need someone you want to change for! And them for you. If it is just growing up a bit more, or taking on more responsibilities, you need to be yourself and have that person love you for that!

So, again, damn it... you and your special person are making me sick! TOO CUTE!

The hilarious thing about all of this posting today, is that I was just telling him last night how queasy being super sweet makes me feel.

Smack me next time, ok?
Hehe I know what you mean....but sometimes it's just sooo right :D
