I'm a people noob (is that different from newb?
). I spent close to 8 years in the Marine Corps, socializing with nothing but Marines in the Marine language. After I left I made myself a recluse and spent several years not socializing. I honestly forgot how to naturally interact with people. That's a part of why I came here. Work on my people skills while I work on my peeping skills.

I'm a wine noob. I know what I like but not why, or what's in it that makes it tastier than others. I'm beginning to learn, though, because the beach house is in vineyard country.
In my mind, the best way to experience new places to travel to is noobishly. If you already have been there and done that, then you are just jadedly rekindling your first noobish jaunts.
This too, the only way to experience wines is from a noobish POV, relatively speaking. Tasting and categorizing wines is something of a new experience thing. Although, some would say a connoisseur e left what they should taste based on the type of wine or region the wine comes from. i. e. French wines are drier, german wines are sweeter. Grapes picked early in the season are sweet, opposed are drier and more tart. Etc

I am a total n00b when it comes to celebrities. I know a few, have met many, and never know who the hell they are. I mean, I just learnt Tony Robbins is famous because I saw his face on a freaking billboard.
