Just jump in. The only way you are going to get to know people is to just jump in and start posting.

This place is just as bad if not worse than High School. Between the cliques, the talking behind one another backs, the personal attacks and the jealousy it amazes me that there hasn't been a reality TV show about The Playground of Lit.

You can make some very good friends online that you have never met face to face. Two of my closest friends are from this place. A few years ago I would have bet a lot that I would never post anything on a website forum much less an erotic site forum.

As difficult as it is, really try to get to know someone before jumping into things. If they won't cam and only share a couple of pictures with you, then they aren't who they say they are. If someone is into you as much as you are to them then they will eventually be more than happy to start sharing more of themselves with you.

You get out of this place what you put into it. If you post about yourself life and how much you like to fuck, more than likely the messages you receive are going to be of the same theme. Just like if you post about troubles, marriage or any other topic the messages you receive are more than likely going to be of the same nature.

Alts. They are everywhere. Being new to a message board I didn't know what an alt was. I didn't know what they were or why they existed. Turns out they are everywhere and just about everyone on here has an alt of some kind. May it be a silly alt or just a different personality alt of what you normally post as a majority of the posters on here have them.

In general the folks here, especially on the PG are genuine and nice. We all have our highs and lows. We all have our strong points and faults, but in general we care about this place and do our best to protect it for what it means to each one of us.

This place has finally taught me that no matter how busy I get, or how rough or tough life gets, I have a place I can go to where I will only be judged by a few and can feel safe in knowing that what happens here usually stays here.

That if you say you try and stay out of drama you are usually the one in the middle of it.

That there are folks that send the same copy and paste messages to multiple women as though these women don't talk to each other.

That is you tell someone not to say anything about what you are going to tell them, don't be a fool and just hush. We are all gossipers on here.

If i need a good laugh I just head over to the personals section. There is nothing funnier than a "i am going to be in Minneapolis on Friday who wants to meet up" thread. Only because I haven't read a single one where someone did randomly hook up, unless it is on page two after the 20 plus bumps required to keep their desperate plea at the top of the page.

If you have an AmPics thread first off kudos for having the balls to share yourself with the degenerates of this site, but the last thing i want to be looking at when trying to decipher which titty is bigger, is that used diaper on your coffee table behind you. Clear your surrounding before posting twat shots of yourself on the internet.

People rally around one another on here. if there is one of us regulars who are in trouble or have had a rough go of it, folks go out of their way to try and brighten their mood and help them through it.

That I am not alone. Whether it is marriage trouble, medical issues, being a new father, etc etc. there is always someone on here who can relate and empathize with whatever I am going through.

You can't convince or change the mind of know it alls. They will fight you till the end and never admit when they are wrong.

Be very careful of what you share on here. As close knit as some of us are there are assholes on here that will hurt you if given the chance. They will use whatever personal info you have put on here against you.

A lot of folks on here have self esteem issues, so realize that there is no one too good or too intimidating to talk to. The most conceited, know it alls that will fight you on anything and everything are the ones with nothing better to do then pick fights for attention because they lack the self esteem and discipline to leave the computer screen and venture out into the real world.

As soon as you get mad at a troll, they win.

The ignore feature makes this place a hell of a lot more fun than without it.
