In fact leaving everything. Got our garage sale tomorrow, then Sunday my son's 21st. Settlement day for the house is the 6th, so Monday and Tuesday will be packing and bringing in the movers. Thursday we fly out leaving Australia behind us for good.

I'm coming home. I'm scared, nervous and excited. But I will be leaving the friends I have made here in Lit for a couple of months. We'll be living in a camper while the new house is being built, and will only have a cell phone, so no computer.

How am I going to survive. Actually I think I'm going to be too busy during the day, but the nights are going to be the worst.

Hope my bitching will make hubby buy me a lap top. LOL

Till I return, I hope all of you behave {NOT}. I'll miss you all while I'm gone, but hopefully for not much more than the 2 months. Take care. When I can I'll drop by to say hi to you all.

;) Some of us will behave while you are gone?
For others? LOL There is no hope! :)
You will be missed.
May the time go fast, have fun and come back real soon. :)

debbie :)

BTW We do expect letters to keep us updated on how things
are going. PM or email is fine. :)

good luck with the moving and dont forget to take an aspirin every 6h on the flight to avoid deep vene thrombosis.

Halo :rose:

Thanx Devil, I didn't know that asprin helped with the deep vein thrombosis. I'll have to get in a supply before we fly out Thursday.

One more thing for my list of things yet to do lol.

Just park that camper next to an all night Cyber-cafe and you'll have everything you need. (well except privacy while you browse Lit. ;))

Have you decided what to read on the plane?

Now that's not a bad idea. Or maybe just go down the road to the prison and use their computer.

Actually I think I'll be too exhausted to do any reading. So far this week, I think I've slept maybe 3 hours. I love the thought of sleeping 14 solid hours. But if hubby has his way he'll wanna join the mile high club {oops I didn't say that did i?} But we have to have a minimum of a 7 hour layover in LA because of the pets, so thinking of staying overnight and fly out to Albany NY the next day all refreshed.

Hurry Back!

Good luck with the move!...Hey you might find a local library that has internet access and occaisionally check up on us. Becareful though they get really pissed when you cyber and it gets loud. ;)

Not that I would know for sure, but if you're really addicted to Lit, you can visit your local library and usually get about 1/2 hour a day on the internet there.

Just remember to turn off the avatars and signature lines when you log in. :D

oops

Thanx Cheyenne, I completely forgot about that. Also gonna have to uninstall a few programs when I sell this computer.

Just popping in for a quick hello. We're leaving in 9 hours, but not after some last minute disasters.

Please tell me how I'm going to get along without my son. He's staying behind to be with his new girlfriend. At least I have let him know that if it doesn't work out he can always fly out to us.

The tears have already started and the butterflies have made a new home in my stomach. Knowing me I'll probably try to stay online till the new owner of this com shows up and have to forcebly remove the keyboard from my grasp.

Take care all and have fun while I'm gone.

:rose:

Good luck with the move, take care and we look forward to hearing all about your adventures when you return! Try to do the internet cafe thing if you can for a brief hello.....

Still Here

Arghh we're still here. We should have flown out a week ago, but unfortunately my youngest had an accident, broke both her ankles and ended up in hospital for 4 days and had to undergo surgery to wire one of them.

Now we have to rely on friends to give us shelter till the doctors give the ok for us to fly out. Have to wait till next Thursday to find out.

I am sitting here wondering if this move is ever going to take place. This is the third time that we have been delayed. Maybe I should just forget getting back home.

Just thought I would pop in and give an update.

im so sorry to hear that mistyc.... just wait till you finally get home - how great it will be then :)

Halo :rose:

Damn. :( Sorry to hear that things aren't going too well.
But I am sure things will work out for you. :)

Thanx guys. This is just driving me crazy, but there's nothing we can do but sit back and see what the dr says on Thursday

The latest is that my daughter has finally been given the all clear to travel, so tickets are booked and we now fly home on the 8th april.
This waiting has drained me completely, and depending on hubby's friends to give us shelter has not been the best, but thankfully not for too much longer.
Hurry up the 8th LOL.

Mistic

Hope everything goes well this time around. Gonna miss ya. Take care.

Hugs and

Hey peoples, I'm back.

Finally made it to NY with no more problems. Have been here for almost a month. Only problem now is settlement on the property is taking forever.

An update on my youngest is that she is now out of plaster, out of the wheelchair and was supposed to be on crutches with ankle braces for a month, but after a week she no longer needed them. She still isn't running but is well on the road to recovery. Only thing is that the surgeon will not remove the pins unless they start to bother her.

It's great to finally computer access and be back in Lit. Will take me a while to catch up, so be patient.

Thanks to all those who wished us best wishes, they were much appreciated.
