The NFL rule book:

https://operations.nfl.com/media/3277/2018-nfl-rulebook_final-version.pdf

Only 89 pages. That's why they need "rules analysts". lol

They could move the stands back a bit, but that would mean less tickets sold.

Half of the commentators didn’t even know who was penalised and for what. Silly, in the final.

I didn’t say move the stands, just get all the people off the sideline. It’s tiny. I’ve been to a gazillion games and there’s no way they’d allow people other than camera men and one or two security. Ridiculous when your players are flying into people

Well, they don't have a bullpen for the secondary or 2nd stringers. Or like soccer where they reserve the first row for players and coaches. Then you have all the medical, media, coaching staff, water boys, officials, and security.

More than one cheerleader has been bruised. It's probably worth it when you think about they money they make, :p

The impression I get, is that Yank football is more of a show than actual sport.

Which is more than likely why they have a gazillion people on the sideline.

the game is not a game
the sport is not a sport

a momentous non-call
cannot be allowed to "tarnish the shield"
as
no official statements until a week and a half later
'protects' with a slap;
not just to one team's fans
but to all fans
of what was long purported to be a... game.

pro football no longer differs from pro wrestling

as this billion dollar super payday
is the culmination
not of a competition
but of an anti-trust absolved business year.

...i'll be binging something on netflix
thanks, roger...

You’re not missing much, game is meh. Maroon 5 is boring and have no idea what that other horrible music was about.

Get off my lawn!

Got my fave Saints jersey on! No Mary’s.

More like a blood sport. Sort of like NASCAR racing.

But, there is a lot of strategy involved. Field position, play calling to exploit weaknesses in the other team, time management, and many times having the grit to go for it against the odds.

I don’t know how he dropped that pass but that could’ve been the touchdown the Rams needed for the equalizer.

It's game, I'm so sick of these MFers winning or being in the Superbowl. Retire and go home to your annoying model wife.:mad:
