Hi everyone,

My name is Paul and I'm new to BDSM.

I'm 26 years old and looking to create strong long-lasting friendships with others involved in BDSM who are open and willing to talk to someone brand new to it all.

I want to come out of my shell and explore the lifestyle.

I like to think that I'm open-minded about everything and willing to try everything once.

Welcome to BDSM Talk and the Café. If you're new to BDSM, you might want to start out by taking a stroll through our Library (<---clickie), where our Librarians over the years have gone to a great deal of effort to organize and categorize the many many threads created there, and group them in such a way that one might be able to browse through the listings and find topics of interest *to them.*

You can also, of course, browse through the active threads in both Talk and the Café, and see what strikes your fancy there. Talk is primarily intended for discussion of BDSM and BDSM-related topics; the Café is kind of an "open" forum for people who look at life from, more or less, a BDSM point of view to discuss pretty much whatever strikes their fancy - sometimes from that BDSM point of view, and sometimes just from their personal POV.

If you have questions about the BDSM culture, you've come to one of the finest places on the Interwebz to get feedback from some very knowledgeable people, many of whom have lived in the culture for years/decades.

Again, welcome - and don't be afraid to offer your *own* POV about things you have experience/knowledge of - few of us are so proud (or arrogant) to think we know everything (present company excepted ).
