If I were to start playing with a Domme or
Dom on here and wanted to be put in self-bondage to obey in real time their instructions, what should I already have on hand to give them options to bind me? I already own a ball gag that buckles behind and can take a little lock. I have some other things but they are cheaply made. I’m thinking of visiting an adult store to collect some “play things”.

@MeganFachs get a Velcro cuff set with metal d ring attachment points. Easy to put on your self. You can then use standard I’ll call them key ring style snaps to attach them. Get ones that are long enough that you can open them by hand, you can get some large rings at a a hardware store and easily clip your self into a hog tie like this, or make a simple spreader bar for all sorts of fun. You could also tie a rope to something and connect yourself to that… if you need links to understand what I mean, DM me.

Just make sure you can get free in case something goes wrong. Maybe arrange a safe call
 
To Tarnished Penny’s point you should start with finding the play partner and take it from there.

With some of the women I’ve played with online I’ve typically made what ever they have work. Also usually the power of just submitting means that your mind is the biggest part of your bondage.
