Incest Romance?

I've recently written a few incest stories, but my own personal... bias , habits, preferences maybe, push me toward romance in my stories. So I would like some opinions. Should incest stories just be hot sex? Is romance in the long term just to far fetched given that those type of relationships are illegal?

Thanks in advance for your input!

for someone in a 16 year relationship, romance is absolutely part of it. it isn't just hot forbidden sex. it is two people forming a bond unlike any other. we aren't in it for illegal sex. that does not enter our mind. it is an attraction and love story of two people who just happen to have common dna.

I prefer the mother/son stories where there has always been an untold physical attraction that builds until ultimately both can no longer resist temptation. No romance, just a good backstory followed by some incredibly hot sex.

More romance and build up.

I find romance to be almost inevitable as the length of time of your relationship builds. You develop such a bond like in a normal vanilla relationship that strengthens with time. That being said it can fall apart just like a normal relationship.

I've found that most incest readers here on Literotica prefer there to be romance in the stories they read. Also, a lot of them like there to be a believable reason for them to fall in love, not just "Oh, I saw my sister by the pool so I fucked her and we fell in love." Though to be fair, there are quite a few readers on here that don't mind that scenario, either. :):rose:

I completely get what you're saying. But even after all those years, doesn't the taboo-ness (I love making up words) of the affair still give the sex an extra charge of excitement?

Not that I'm against consenting adults, even those from the same family, having romantic relationships. But at least erotica-wise, I do prefer that the focus be kept on the physical aspects of the relationship. Sure, I like some "My mother was always kind to me", "My sister is protective of me" for characterization purposes but I definitely read incest stories for the sex. Once it gets to "I think I want to marry my father", "I want to move in with my cousin", I tend to stop reading.

I can tell you for me personally if a story is just sex I doubt I will read it, I prefer story and depth over immediate gratification, but I tend to read a lot and not just literotica lol, just my Opinion on the matter take it for what it is worth
