Thought about this for a bit, but here's the result.

I think JBJ as a person is a pretty neutral to good guy who does his best to tend his garden, care for his family and dedicate himself to his interests in an attempt to get better at it. I think he's probably done much more actual good in his life than I have. On the cosmic scale, I think he tips out much further to the positive than I do. I've been limited by my interaction with the world by migraines and he hasn't. I gave up on saving the world early, but he tried for a good long while. I think he's done things in reality where I've done more things philosophically. I admire him for that reason.

Online, I think he's a provocateur where he tries to burst people's bubbles about their ideas of good and evil. He KNOWS he is a good person, he also knows that there are a lot of camouflaged assholes out there. It is not actually a bad idea, but it has collateral damage in the process and isn't necessarily worth doing. I do not admire him for that, but he and I can have a different conversation while that whole mess is going on.

I do end up doing this, what happened in this thread, a lot. "If you guys would read what he said, not fall for the bait, but do fall for the actual interesting part of the conversation, I wouldn't have to fend off the camouflaged assholes all the time."

So there's probably some version of thought-provoking conversation (although sometimes it's just total bullshit and I don't go or I dismiss it) along with a performance art set piece of ridiculously stunning regularity.

Those who cannot read are doomed to repeat it over and over and although I'm not doomed to watch, sometimes I do wish that the assholes didn't make it so very easy for him to "make them" jump out of the water onto the boat and then tell him there's no fishing here.

Beyond that, I congratulated you at the time and a few times since when someone has asked who has the most Green Es, I've said I thought it was you. As LC notes, of course, it's for a single series. Why should they taunt me? Mine are for a whole range of categories in mostly separate stories, including all of the different sexual preference categories (including non-erotic) and even Loving Wives (not that we're keeping score ). Why would I be jealous of ones given for a single series/category? It's really just one Green E the more you think about it--as LC mentioned. Thanks to both of you for making me think about it more.

He's a blowhard...a pompous know-it-all. He always has to be the first with the answer to the question. And if he's not, he answers in such a way that the person that did post first is wrong, even if both answers are the same. Or he just ignores the first answer.

He's more like the some of the girls I went to high school with...they always sat up front, they always raised their hand and if they weren't called on they had a fit about it.
