Yes, trolling for me, by my definition, is disliking a poster enough to follow them from thread to thread and talk off topic about the poster and not the subject.

It is not just something "bad" people do, it's something that people who think they're "good" people do when they want to superficially protect others, but mostly they want to get in their two cents about how icky someone is in their opinion and affect community opinion in their favor.

Ask whether you're discussing the subject civilly or even jokingly adversarial or whether you're just hammering at someone despite their disinterest in talking to you.

If I don't like someone, I don't talk to them and I don't make judgments about their real life based on their posting style or content. I just stop talking to them.

I consider the alternative to be non-consent conversation. It's rude.

Being a citizen on a board doesn't extend the right to a "group" of like-minded posters to make another individual's life miserable.

I didn't focus on JBJ on anything but what he is trying to do in false advertising of his writing credentials. That isn't anything like what LC rags on me about--other than he does rag on my writing credentials when they are all right there for folks to figure out for themselves. Even my editorial credentials have been vetted with this Web site.

I wrote to be protective of seeking writers on this Web site, and no they don't all know about JBJ. (You don't even seem to know about JBJ, Second.) And I will continue to do that.

I didn't even rag on JBJ's writing. When I posted that I probably appreciate his writing ability as demonstrated by his stories more than Laurel would (on the question of giving anything he wrote a Green E from her subjective view), I did so both because I have read what/how he writes and I do know from Green E experience what sort of writing/stories Laurel views favorably. His claim is both unbelievable and unsupported in any way.

I haven't seen anyone give any better "facts" than I have done here (in fact I've seen you and recideva avoid doing so): A, that JBJ has been tagged for lying about his writing credentials here in the past and B, there is no support for his attempts to establish writing credentials by claiming to have gotten a Green E here.

I do recognize that some of you like to live in lalala land and that I take writing development as something more than an Internet game--and that this means you are going to attack me when I'm taking writers' needs more seriously than I do playing the Internet games.

And I think that any reader in passing who has half a brain can now figure out where their self-interests lie in relationship to this thread.

Then you started writing and the focus changed to becoming a writing guru here (and, at least for me, showed that you could write). It's the fabric of your technique I exposed.

If you come on the forum in the alt name, acknowledge that it's you, and we can see the Green E is there, that certainly would be validation on this particular point. It would have little to do with what you were trying to do with this thread, but it certainly would help to put you back on the road to believability (unlike what TxRad posted, I think a lot of your observations on writing are valid--it's just that most of those are given second hand; they represent what you've read not what you have experienced in your own demonstrated writing). There also would be no reason you wouldn't do it. He sent me a link to a story with a green E, and he confirmed ownership of the account by posting a comment with the author's username in code and then removing it.

Realistically, I wouldn't tell anybody due to ethical concerns regarding disclosure, but I especially wouldn't tell you because I think you would troll him unfairly based on your current and past behavior. Whether or not that is a fair assessment, I don't know. You'd have to "prove" it by behaving like a decent human being about it.

And as usual, the green E, just like with mine, gave him a lower score than the rest of the stories because a green E is a troll magnet.

So here's the question. Can you alter your patterns of behavior or can't you? Can you accept the unrealistic "proof" you requested or can't you?
