If you love reading erotica or erotic romance...

Not sure that this counts as a fetish, but someone in the Authors' forum suggested it might, so here I am. I would like to know: if you really love reading erotica and/or romance, what do you love about it? What does it make you feel, what content do you seek out if you feel like sharing that? And I'm not talking about just fetishy content, it could be settings or character archetypes or plot tropes that you find particularly satisfying - I want to know why.

My favorite stories are always the ones that are cinematic. In other words, it feels like you're watching a movie or tv show. There's different scenes, some sort of story, and realistic dialogues & characters.

There are obviously tons of erotic tv shows on cable, and of course there's porn, but they don't necessarily hit "the spot" that people want hit.

Cable shows (like the Red Shoe Diaries) are limited in what they can show and cover. Porn movies don't really bother with story, and they don't have the actresses that people fantasize about (soccer moms, proper women, ect...)

So reading stories are the way to go. If you like Non-Concent, you'll be able to read something you'll NEVER be able to see on tv. Same for incest, voyeur, ect...

Plus I think a lot of people, if not the majority, want the image of the soccer mom or the girl next door. With stories, you can imagine it however you want. You get the fill in the blanks.
