if you could do 1 thing what would it be?

A better education would be at the top of my list. With that, I'd probably be able to do/get most of what I want out of life. I agree about traveling the world too. That would be great, and better education would probably help that along.

Walk up to my boss and knock her flat on her ass. After the last few weeks she has got it coming, and not just by me.

WEll, getting a better education is HUGE, but I wold like to travel the world, too. Another HUGE thing on that list would be have sex with as many women as possible.

for sure

if i could do just 1 thing, it would be to have a big party on an island with different bands playing and have all the people from the BB flown in for the weekend to meet and just have fun.:D

OH this one is sooo easy.....

If I had the money to do this...and winning powerball tomorrow night would make it happen....

I would go to downtown St. Louis where this old housing project stands boarded up and abandoned after the welfare class left it in shambles after just being 8 years old. I would buy the place, pay to have it all rehabbed and landscaped.

Then I would first go to the shelters where the families of domestic abuse victims are living and hiding and find those willing to start over. I would have them all sign leases with clauses forcing them to remain drug free, employed and willing pull themselves out of poverty. I would find or provide the education they need to become self sufficient for the sake of their children. I would find corporations willing to step up to the plate and hire them while they are being educated.

I would build an on site daycare for the children to young for school and for those who need before and after school supervision. I would have a computer lab there with qualified instructors teaching them business skills.

The place would be a fortress of protection with security on site. These families and others like them would be a model for how to succeed in getting off welfare and be a person who can hold their head up high knowing they have made something of their lives.

With help, not hand outs, these parents would know they have a real chance. They would not fall back into the same traps. Their kids would grow up knowing how to contribute and with pride.

Just imagine this. I would do this in Dallas and Seattle too. Those are the three places I would want to spend my time. Within three years, we could have 200+ families per location off the welfare roles. We could have single parents spending quality time with the kids on their days off from work not just working a second job to make ends meet.

I would do my best to help so many one parent households for the sake of all the kids living in them.

Not to mention...all my crazy online friends who after three years, are still faceless to me, but with hearts that warm me every time I see their nicknames appear on my messenger lists.

Pay off their houses. Buy them houses. Send them enough money to get out of debt.

Damn...back to my dreaming now.

Enjoy!

:)

I ain't no Miss Fucking America here.

I think I would...

Let me think...

I would...

Have more beans at dinner?

Kymberley, good luck darlin', I've got the winning ticket, so you'll have wait on that idea. However it is a great one.

The thing is how do you now which building? or just any building in general? We have WAY too many abandoned buildings, NICE ones at that, in St. Louis. (I'm a NorCo boy myself)

Here's what I would LOVE to do, and yes it's based on winning the powerball lottery...

Create a foundation for abused kids where the money actually is used to help the KIDS, not for administrative purposes. Anyone who worked there would be STRICTLY a volunteer. They also must have been abused as a child, so they can truely HELP the kids.

We would have our own private plane to take kids to where-ever they wanted to go in the world. Kind of like the Make-A-Wish foundation. Anything to help them forget for even a little while what they've gone through in their lives. Maybe you Kymberley can help with rehabbing our dorms, where the kids will stay.

ok, I'm through dreaming now...

Oh yeah????

We both win....same numbers.

The project sits off MLK and Delmar. It is the old one story buildings that are now all boarded up and trashed, but with a great chance at rehabbing since most of the structures are all sound. Just needs lots of cosmetic work.

My dream is all about the kids and their parent that try so hard to make them forget how hard their life how been and put smiles back on their faces.

I know right where that is!

Kym, if we both win because we have the same numbers, you've got a partner in crime. Wait, no, there's already too much crime, can we work on that too?

Now all we need are some honest hard working people to help us out, huh?

The impossible: be young again (age 10) and start over with what I know now. Youth is wasted on the young.

The highly improbable: travel in space in a faster than light spacecraft.

The slightly improbable: retire tomorrow with enough money to ride my motorcycle around the world.

I have people already to do that too. I have a company that would start hiring them, and a fantastic woman I know that get this thing off the ground.

i may come off as an international relations student (cuz i am), but i'd want to cement a foundation of better chinese and american relations.

Stop thinking so much and being so responsible: doing what I want to do, when I want to do it, without explanation or justifcation to anyone or having to worry about anyone else but myself.

If just even for a a day or two.

For some reason I cant belive these bleeding heart individules in this thread, If I won the powerball or lottery I would get a yacht a case of scotch an ounce of coke and 15 whores. and in a month show you what a lottery winner looks like I would be a tired seasick hungover overfucked underfed happy fuckin lotery winner. thats what I would do.
