You remember, I hope you remember. The kind where you anticipate it for a week. Buy a special outfit. Take a long showert, wear those fancy, though uncomfortable undies. The pretty bra. Shave carefully. Spray that expensive perfume. He picks you up. Your hands are hot and cold.
The nice restaraunt. The long conversations, maybe a walk afterwards. A movie or dancing, or a show.


Just thought I would share. I want a date. Better start harassing the guys.

and nervous tremors. Struck me for the first time last Monday, meeting someone that I had been e-mailing and talking to by phone for six months, for the first time. What would her reaction be? Would she see me, shake hands and then turn away?

No! She kissed me gently, we hugged, then spent the week getting to know each other. A truly wonderful experience! The feelings I have for her were only intensified from having met her physically!

I have a date like that coming up on Thursday. Someone I met here that is flying from Seattle to see ME!! I will admit to be so incredibly excited I am just vibrating in my chair (no there is no vibrator in the chair with me).

I have to watch it or people are going to start questioning this goofy grin on my face. Preverbial cat that ate the canary.

Would an entire weekend count as a date? Or would you count each separate activity?

If you are preparing to meet someone, shopping for new clothing, getting your hair trimmed, hiring the babysitter and trying on different outfits.....would the weekend then be considered a date?


If so, I have one coming up in about two weeks.

we made the date before he left for 2 weeks on vacation visiting his family... it was perhaps the most perfect evening/night/following morning i have ever spent with a man. even though we're not still together the memory makes me smile
