I have.........

Thank you Ogg! I have much gratitude. :) I will have a care if I go jolly rogering with pirates ;).

I have spent many hours copying files from my old to new computer but this morning I accidentally deleted from the new computer the 10+ gigabytes of everything I had copied yesterday.

My language was very unparliamentary.

I have now copied everything except my back-up picture file, and made new back-up DVDs of everything - again.

There was no way I could lose the files completely. They are now on three computers and two complete back-up DVD sets, and stored in 'the cloud' as well.

My back-up picture file is copying now.

I'm off to get a Chinese Takeway, even though that is bad for me. :D

I have started exercising again after a gap of 3 weeks. My dog, a Golden Retriever, died yesterday after a long and painful suffering from a viral infection. I feel sad that he died in my arms despite the fact that I've given him the best treatment possible in the last few weeks :(

I have all the sympathy in the world for you. I've had that happen - it must be close to what losing a child feels like, or more like a close friend.

I have never felt a grief of that magnitude because I've never been that close to anyone. You might be surprised that he was only a pup of 3 months old but the attachment I've felt towards him in such a short time span was...unbelievable. Mom was totally devastated at seeing his broken body in my arms, when he died.

Sympathy. Been there, had that.

Oh, it definitely IS.

:rose:

I have sent Piglet to school with packed lunch, spelling book, breakfast eaten, violin scraped and a .
I have hung two loads of towels, and put a third in the machine.
I have washed out my 'smalls'.
I have tickled my pussies' tummies.
I have done the washing-up.
I have got a lovely cup of mocha coffee I have made myself.
I have put my writing desk in the garden and am going to compose smut.

Ah, I have sunshine here too!

Ahhhh! that felt good.

(I have no compunction about cheating and posting in here without saying 'I have ...' because if John complains I shall just offer to let him take my knickers down ... off the washing line! the washing line. ;) Anyway, see how skillfully I sneaked an 'I have ...' in there. I am very experienced. At posting in here <snerk>.)

I have tried to have a lie in this morning but my phone kept pinging, which itself was irritating but it was impossible to relax with an unanswered ping that was unlikely to be from anyone hot and wasn't: it was my mother, asking when I'm meaning to come home ( to a bedroom she has rearranged and doesn't smell right anymore ). Please check my punctuation. Thanks.

Hi Naoko :)

Hi Naoko :)

I have such pleasure in seeing you again! and I have just written a story deliberately leaving out a lot of the punctuation - nearly as beautifully as you have done here.

I have sympathy & I have another tip, which is ginger tea for upset tummies and such

I have been to the Governors' Induction (last night). whataloadofrubbish!
I have taught my morning online tutorial, and will shortly go and prepare for my late night face-to-face tutorial (by having a well-earned snooze)
I have to go to an interview tomorrow
I have to go to an Away Weekend, and I was hoping to sneak into the Spa at the hotel but I think they have jam-packed the two days with workshops :( Gah, what do they think I am going on this all-expenses-paid jamboree for?

I have some good news; my consultant can find no problem; "come back in six months."
There are [still] times when you can float from the Hospital !
:)

 I have had to change my outfit four times now.

First I had this nice crop top with my linen trousers but I decided it maybe isn't appropriate to show skin while teaching.
Then I put on a white t-shirt with the linen trousers but you could see my bra through it.
Then I tried a grey top, it looked perfect but I realised it would be the best thing to wear to my horrid interview tomorrow.
Now I have finally got a houndstooth skirt and black t-shirt, with my boots and Jaegar elephant cord jacket. All very county and will make the students take my explanation of how to analyse figures SEROUSLY and not be distracted by my figure.

Gah, the online teaching was so much easier. I just sat in the garden, in my lacy pyjamas, drinking a coffee and poking my pussy with one foot. (I mean the kitty cat <snerk>. I am not that athletic!)

I have just lost my job. Buy more cars you buggers! Or at least find some bloody faults with them that don't endanger your life :)

Thanks for mentioning your lack of impossible flexibility, Naoko. It gave me the jolly good chuckle I needed to perk me up. The houdstooth will look great. Good luck with your interview.

* I have returned from the friendly neighborhood dentist (a rarity in these remote Sierra Nevada hamlets) loaded with Vicodin and needle shock and the beginning of a new crown.
* I have made a pot of comfort soup from dried mushrooms purchased (cheap!) in San Francisco's Chinatown, with a bit of medicinal pot sauteed and blended for effect.

* I have captured a few plot gerbils to include in my NATIONAL NUDE DAY contest stories.
* I have stolen ideas from various sources. "Let no one else's work evade your eyes."
* I have set aside tomorrow to finish writing and editing... whatever I'll have strength for.

* I have concentrated on playing ukulele and 5-string banjo because their necks are narrower than guitar necks and are less painful on my sprained fretting-hand thumb.
* I have determined that 5-string banjo played bottleneck style is an abomination, but I try not to let that discourage me. Slide on a banjo-ukulele is even worse. Hold your ears, folks.
