I have a nice clear hallway - I mean clear of shoes, not of ten boxes full of stuff that was cleared out of the kitchen and which must be sorted through some time this decade. I was quite hopeful at first that I'd screwed up the flatpack furniture thing by buying something too big, and that this task would be taken on by Others in future. The Fella looked at the completed item and faffled around clearly unsure how to carry on in life without something he could feel justified in swearing over, then hopefully said he thought it was too tall. Since I had made him do the measuring of the space so I could be sure of buying something which would fit, I was adjusting my 'It's All Your Fault' face. However it turned out that the flatpack item fitted perfectly and looks very nice there - loads better than some shoes falling out of a broken old shoerack.

I have not cleared up the shoes myself into the flatpack furniture item. Somebody Else actually did that! I have been very good about just leaving it to be done by Somebody Else. After all, I have bought, paid for (I mean with my own money I earned), carried in and built the flatpack furniture item (without swearing)

I have two point two miles on my gps pedometer app for the day, a freshly mown lawn and a thunderstorm brewing. And it's not even one PM.

It's like a perfect storm of putting off mowing until the last day of dry (yesterday afternoon), a rain free morning to take the dog out for his long walk of the day, and all afternoon to be lazy and listen to rain and thunder.

I have given up blogging about the Baron, so at least allow me to vent occasionally in peace in here! I have a lot of regrets about giving up the blogging, as I have some totally hilarious blogs I could've written - hilarious for everyone except moi, who has to deal with the aftermath .

I have pride in saying that although I didn't completely understand the instructions (that would be beyond even the brain of the MILF!), and at one point had to undo a lot of the screwing I had done (this is v. difficult, dahlinks, which is why you should always wear a condom), and re-screw it, not a word passed my lips which was not suitable for Piglet and her piglet friend to overhear.

I had a laptop stolen with all my stories on it. Not to mention hundreds of unfinished stories. I had some old backups but not anything new. Whoever stole it couldn't use it as the operating system was passworded as well as the bios. It was at that point a paperweight to them.

Now I back up to an external hard drive on my home computer or a thumb drive on my laptop before I shut my writing down. That's even if I'm just going into the other room for a little while.

Getting all your shit stolen will make you paranoid.

I have finished one teaching application. I am halfway through the second. It looks like I have really good experience for it, so prolly they will skip over me and not even interview me . It's in another faculty to mine, where they usually take care of their own, not my faculty, where they usually try to kick me out .

I did have an interview with this faculty once so maybe they will consider me.
