Hydroxychoroquine/Azithromycin/Zinc Sulfate

I think that would largely depend on whether Sigh's sigh was accompanied by an eye roll, maybe.

I have always thought of Sigh as mysteriously sensual and would like to leave her there.

Let’s talk about Robbed some more.

Boner pills for decades!?

The poor bastard.

We should help Rub Down South find a girlfriend.

Oh.

France reported 43 cases of heart incidents linked to treating coronavirus patients with hydroxychloroquine, the malaria drug President Donald Trump has repeatedly touted as a potential “game changer.”

France has recorded about 100 health incidents and four deaths linked to experimental drugs for coronavirus patients since March 27, the national drug-safety agency ANSM said in a statement on Friday. Three other patients had to be revived.

Some 82 incidents were deemed “serious.” Most of those were split between hydroxychloroquine and HIV antivirals lopinavir-ritonavir, according to the agency.

Nigeria reported two cases of chloroquine poisoning after U.S. President Donald Trump praised the anti-malaria drug as a treatment for the novel coronavirus.

Health officials are warning Nigerians against self-medicating after demand for the drug surged in Lagos, a city that’s home to 20 million people. Two people were hospitalized in Lagos for chloroquine overdoses, Oreoluwa Finnih, senior health assistant to the governor of Lagos, said in an interview.

It is actually an extremely safe drug. It is one off the safest drugs to take for my condition or I would not have agreed to take it in the first place. I belong to several groups and side effects are minimal for a high percentage of people. Of course, we are different than others, so perhaps we respond different.

The military used it for years, in extremely high doses.

For people with underlying heart issues, it can create problems. Along with a probability that the virus can also cause heart conditions, which could make someone a poor candidate.

Mixing it with the Z-pack can create issues with heart rhythms. This is not new information, as it was always listed on my drug interaction sheet.

As with any drug, people respond differently and as always, should be monitored by a doctor.

People drugging themselves with no real knowledge, no knowledge of dosing and mixing it, are idiots.

You sound like Trump. "It's a very powerful drug, luxurious and the best of all the drugs and I oughta know, right?"

Which ones do you have?

Chloroquine phosphate is used occasionally to decrease the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and to treat systemic and discoid lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, pemphigus, lichen planus, polymyositis, sarcoidosis, and porphyria cutanea tarda.

Hence, the reason we have medical trials. Science actually works until you have stupid people deciding they know better

All autoimmune issues. That is why people thought it might stimulate the immune response. Problem is...our immune response is not just one response. Why the drug works for any of the diseases listed here, does not mean it works the same for a viral infection. Hence, why more research should be done before making statements that it works wonders.

So, nothing she can give me if I wear a condom?

This has turned into a big political problem. Every Dem I know, is against the drug. Every Republican is on the band wagon. Tooting their own horn.

Most don’t even know anything about the drug.

I knew about this before Trump started his ramblings.

I take hydroxychloroquine for an over active immune system

And Trump had to ramble about it. Once again, he couldn’t help or control himself.
It could work, out first responders are using it. McGill University, which is our Super Hospital is using it.

It might not work at all.

But to discredit it because of political beliefs or believing everything you read about it, is foolish.

And I am not referring to you Dribble, just people in general.

"Controversial" drug works in Vegas

https://www.reviewjournal.com/news/...ath-with-malaria-drug-to-treat-covid-2005095/

From the story:
Dr. Thomas Zyniewicz, an emergency medicine physician at UMC, said the drug, which is frequently used to treat malaria and autoimmune diseases, has shown promising results in thwarting the progression of COVID-19. Two small studies out of China and France, as well as preliminary case studies across the U.S., are showing some benefit for some patients, he said.
“Our outcomes in our ICU patients to date are better than outcomes we’re seeing from Italy, China, France and other countries,” Zyniewicz noted. “Is it a result of the medication and the other antivirals we’re putting them on? Probably.”

The only reason this drug and this drug application is generating any kind of controversy is because Trump said he thought it was promising. And from Day 1 it has worked.

I understand. As you have said, you take it because of an overactive immune system. It prevents cytokine bursts, but does so at the risk of lowering your immune response. This is WHY it is not a good choice for prevention...it does the opposite of what we want in society as a whole gaining a quick immunity.

Yes, there is evidence it "may" help those in ICU experiencing a cytokine burst. That is what it does. There is NO evidence, it mitigates or prevents the infection. What happens to the general public if their immune response is lowered? Republicans want certain groups of people dead.

Personally, I am to the point where we become multiple countries. Let Republicans be stupid and die. Let us decide how to proceed based on science.

You know Malaria is caused by a virus, right?

And you know that this medication helps the immune system kill the Malaria virus, right?

And yet, if what you say is true, then the opposite would be occurring. Right?

Yet, reality.

Speaking of "reality", Malaria is NOT caused by a virus, it is caused by a protozoan parasite.

< --- is not a doctor of medicine. Leaves that shit to medical professionals and Lit members who are medical wannabes.

The fact is, IF Plaqnil did what good Doctor Dribbly says it does, then the Malaria Virus would overwhelm the suppressed immune system. It doesn't. So something must be operating differently than what the simplistic explanation infers.

Anecdotal evidence also suggests that the simplistic explanation isn't correct.
