Why you should always watch how much you share here.

Pretty bold accusation there.

Regarding other stuff, I always expect you to have excuses for everything. I will repeat the term I used earlier, “breadcrumbs.” Cautious people don’t leave them. Careless people do. You leave breadcrumbs. You fail in the very post you started.

My concerns, you could even say paranoia, regarding technology vulnerabilities are based on fact and familiarity with the technology behind it.

Like your former arch nemesis who you admitted to backtracking and looking up yourself, I will add, you will win this because you spend more time here than me and thereby have greater odds of getting the last word. Congrats. Facts nonetheless remain on my side.
I'm tweaking you; there's nothing to win here.

My point on Keith was that I have no interest who anyone is here, in his case it was someone I didn't care for most of the time challenging people to do it. I never shared that with anyone but it was worth a few smirks when I saw him lying about a lot of things, but whatever, I was amused and that's all that mattered.

But I'm going to say, and if I am wrong and have you mixed up with someone else, make sure you say so, didn't you used to go around with pics in your sig of you shopping pics to make it look like you were grabbing a couple of women's body patrs? With their permission of course, because that was also in your sig so I'm not saying you're creepy. But that's why I made that comment about you being around that forum. Again, if that was another poster, then my bad.

My signature did include two amusing pictures, my alterations (my hands too) on pictures given to me directly by people, along with their express permission. My avatar remains as a remnant of that.

I fee like if I bothered, I’d find a post or two by someone you know in ampics in under five minutes.

Oh wait. Only took 30 seconds. https://forum.literotica.com/threads/average-regular-guy-thread.747998/

Anyway. An otherwise good thread being diverted by differences of methods, with me being one of the culprits. Consider me gone, unwatch button clicked.

Sometime ago @Bramblebunny had a thread about watching what you divulge here and how easy it could be for someone interested enough to find out your identity, especially in this day and age of big brother tech.

A friend here sent me this yesterday.

Its a short thread, but it seems the OP edited his original post which must have been much creepier judging by the reaction of some of the people who replied. The guy does apologize and backtrack that they just want to communicate, but if they're familiar with this site they should know about the feedback option and both Silk and I have ours open to anon so anyone can contact us. I have a feeling they may have been looking for more information but got called a stalker so backed off.

I like the posts about not living up to expectations and the last one talking about ever have someone sound sexy, then you meet them?

I think Silk might live up to some expectations going by a pic or two I've seen, but trust me, no one wants to meet me.

Making light of it, but I'll admit when I first clicked on it, I had a twinge of "jeez..." I'd never worry about myself, but my wife would be another story, people today are legit nuts.

But one person did link this forum so if you post here and are a bit of an over sharer, you might want to think a bit about this.
As an aside, what's the point of a sub-reddit devoted to Literotica?

I've been much to casual about my privacy. When I first signed on to Lit, I posted regularly on the General Board, where it's common for people to use selfies for avatars, so I thought nothing of doing so myself. And frankly, at the time, I didn't feel like I had much to lose by being open. By the time I became aware of the risks, I figured the train had left the station, and didn't worry about it.

But times and life have changed, and I need to take it more seriously. So, take a good look at that kisser over there, because it's going away.

When I was first on Lit, a young woman with whom I was RPing quickly found my real identity. She challenged me to find hers. It took me three days. There are eight people from Lit I've met in person, so we all know who each other is. There's at least one anonymous person who seems to know who I am. Luckily for all of them, they haven't heard me sing.

The GB and Playground are a lot more risky for disclosing things about yourself.

Although to be fair, the worst of the GB animals are all in the PB now and the GB is a lot more sane.

Uh oh. I like those guys on the PB. Now I'm laughing. I am a PB animal LOL

Well, that's terrifying. Thanks for the reminder to be careful about what we share on here.

@lovecraft68 et al,
I concur that you have introduced a, once again, timely warning. One that can never be overshared in my opinion. One of the truisms of the internet is that once something goes out it's out there forever... "End of the world" notwithstanding. For all we know there might well be dossiers on all of us here labelled "Radical Pervert" - a title I am proud to uphold by the way.

A number of years back I had several friends who were... shall we say adept at scouring the web (both sides of The Force) and if I asked they could find, and detail just about anyone and anything. I've moved on since then, that was in the day for me now but it is a reality that what you are saying is a reality.

Thank you for bringing it into the light again.
Respectfully,
D.

So am I, and some of them over there are like us, just tweaking a bit for fun, but a few of them make LW readers look like great guys.

Good news is there's only really about 12 or so people there, the rest are all alts

You're right, but fortunately I'm starting to age out of it. There's hardly anybody left to care. The advantage of being old is that every stupid and embarrassing thing you've ever done, and that has been done to you, has been forgotten. Even if it hasn't, it's all moot anyway.

Stalkers? In my neighborhood, I'm more worried about the people taking Trank, crack (an oldie but still there), Fentanyl, etc.

I don't reveal that much. I ain't afraid of saying my city state. Not much else connects to my real life or even my other screen name. If somebody does, I ain't too worried about it as long as they aren't blasting it all over.
