Well, i'm Buddhist in training...when I started going to the local temple, the ratio of Eastern people to Non-Eastern was about 10:1. Now it is totally reversed...there are more non-eastern people at the temple than ever. Unfortunately, the Eastern practitioners have found the temple to be too 'trendy' and worship elsewhere.

Interestingly enough, while the Temple now is growing by leaps and bounds (so much so that they are adding a new garden) my parents Christian church is talking about closing its doors after being around for almost 100 years...
