This thread never was a good idea from the start. It was for solely for male bashing under a very thin veil. Do not be surprised with how it ended up,. What pisses me off it may ruin my chances to be number one on the "blacklist" of some alts...............Now resume your playground fun.

I'm sorry someone got hurt by another user, but that's no reason to post a thread that like KB said had 'a very thin veil' over it....

that's the point I've been trying to make all along.....that just cause one guy played a few people doesn't mean every other guy is the same way.....

like I said last night in a previous post, I have an ex-gf that owes me a shitload of money, but I haven't gone about saying all women are manipulative and backstabbing....lesson learned and I've moved on....

Ok i didnt read ALL the posts in this thread but (and if it hasnt already been done) I say name and shame!

I've told this story in another thread but I'll tell it again here:

In a chatroom I frequented I got friendly with this guy, just friends mind you as he was 'with' someone online at the time, I was kind of his shoulder to cry on as even though they had been in an online relationship for almost two years she had repeatedly failed to turn up when they had arranged to meet. Anyway he eventually gave her one last chance and yes you guessed it she didnt turn up (she waited till he had flown half way across the country to tell him she wasnt going to be there) then she came clean and admitted that she wasnt who she said she was, she was infact married with a kid and a lot older, fatter and uglier than the pictures she had sent him. To say he was heart broken is an understatement.

The chatroom we frequented then closed so the regulars moved to another one and he was befriended by another woman but after a while he realised this was THE SAME PERSON (she said things to him that only the other one would have known) I got so angry at what she was doing I watched her when she realised he wasnt falling for her she got with another chatter (who openly admitted to being married) and though I warned him he didnt believe me. I left the site for a while but on my return found out she had been made a moderator on this site I was LIVID! So I outed her, at first not saying her name but telling the forum that a moderator was a fake and OMG I got messages from lots of guys asking if it was so and so and I said yes. She'd been playing the lot of them.

I got booted out of the site for it because they said I had no proof but when someone found her 'pics' on a russian bride website they all realised I was telling the truth. It then came to light she had chatted under yet ANOTHER name years previous to this where she 'died in a car accident' on her way to meet an online love!

Anyway back to my original sentence, I say NAME AND SHAME and save some other poor soul the heartache!

I dont have an issue with the thread per say...I don't like generalisations though and I feel there are as many women on here messing men around too..although..having said that...I dont really think this was intended as a man bashing thread altogether...just somebody that got hurt venting their frustrations...and for that I cannot condemn anyone. We are all human and we all get hurt at some point in our lives and I empathise and sympathise.

My objection was firstly the blacklist which in my eyes was total nonsense (just my thought - nobody has to agree) and then I found it upsetting the tearing each other apart. I have only visited the GB on a few occasions..and most of them were when I was new and had no idea what it was about...and I really hate this desire that many have to 'outdo' other posters...come back with a nastier comment. I come here for fun. I do like the occasional serious subject (as this one was) but will walk away when it turns into a slanging match.
As someone said..this is real soap opera stuff...and human nature dictates that we will ALL keep coming back to see what has been posted next...me included. I just hope it stays constructive rather than abusive x
