help! display

when i call up a story at lit., these days, fully 1/2 the screen is that blue expanse with "literotica" and 'erotic stories" repeated tile fashion a zillion times. so the story is displayed in a column maybe 5 ins. wide.

how do i get a display that is mostly or all text, i.e., wider?

I thought was the default display. It's how mine has always been.

Uh...just set the screen resulotion down to 640x480 and that will be the result. The text column will fill up most of the screen.

I did a quick check of a new story against an old story I have saved in HTML format. The text box is specified as 564 pixels wide in both.

That is roughly 80% of a 640x480 resolution display, 70% of a 800x600 display, and only 55% of a 1024x768 display.

If the percentage of the screen has changed, it's because your screen resolution has changed, not that the Lit format has changed.
