I write them in Word and then cut and paste. So far, word counts have been spot on. Be sure and read the 750 instructions for headings and stuff.

Done and done. Apple Pages measured the same text as 752 words, so I'm glad I checked using Lit's editor.

Everyone knows that the different writing tools count words differently. Word and Google Docs treat hyphenated words different. "twenty-year-old" is on word in MS Word, but 3 words in Google Docs. It's not a contest so the fight to get it to 750 words in your tool of choice is the whole meaning behind the event - to learn to use your words in a tight space but get the idea across in a beautiful way.

It's all in fun! Don't worry about succeeding - it's a joke. The shortest stories allowed by Literotica in the shortest month allowed by Literotica. Relax, have fun and tell a story. My favorite is when someone tells a dirty joke that they heard a thousand times - in 750 words

If people like it, I'll consider it successful. I think I have zero shot at winning any contest here anyway, so it's definitely all in fun for me.
