750 Word Project 2025 - Picture Prompts

Again my usual complaint about 750 word stories is too many of them read like the beginning to what should be a much longer tale.

And while we writers enjoy the challenge, I think readers are, at best, mixed on them.

I agree with both of these points, but I think the key to reader acceptance is trying to get a complete story written. It's not easy, but it's not supposed to be. This is a challenge.

i wrote one, based on the diving instructor.

But the shine on the whole 750 word thing has kinda worn off for me.

Oh I enjoy reading them. And occasionally writing one IF I have a solid enough idea to fit the format.
