Hallo Rex. Ja, Ja. Danke - es get mir sehr gut. Es war heute ein schones tag.
I've been to Kloster Andechs 2 or 3 times. Take the S6 or was is the S8 out to Hersching and catch the bus. I even found the kotzbecken there ;-) Not that I used it, but I had to see it - an item of immense size and reputation.
I've had a few masses of Klosterbrauerei Andechs Dopplebock dunkles in a sitting. Love it :) Even had a tour of the brewery - all the inner workings.
Prost!

Hi griffon - ich freue mich, dass es Dir gut geht.

I know eXactly what you mean.... when I was there the first time... i had 2 masses of it and kinda kissed the floor...
Used to live in Feldafing (between Starnberg and Tutzing) that time (about 20yrs ago) - nice place to be

Gruss Gott Rex,

I habe jetzt ein Andechs Dopplebock getrunk. :)

Our earlier conversation sent me into my bier fridge to pull out a bottle of Andechs Dopplebock Dunkles (yes, I have all sorts of things in my fridge) :)

And why did you have American football in Feldafing ?
Forgive the typing / spelling, I've had a few to drink...
Hoegarden Wit
La Fin du Mond
Hannsens Gueze / Meade blend
Andechser
All yummy.
Maybe I'll open the Weizenbock next!

Cheers Rex!

Grüss Gott griffon,
Du hast getrunken ? Andechs Doppelbock ?
You are a lucky guy. PROST ! I myself like to drink Hefeweizen in the hot summer, it is refreshing and you don't need to eat anything else. lol
American Football in Starnberg with the local (3rd League)team "Argonauts" - not that bad. I was a Rookie (WR) those days, none of us new anything about the game except the US guys. But we had a lot of fun. Worth the effort, sweat and blood...
Was in a pretty good shape back then... anyway...
nothing to forgive - regarding to my own spelling or typing skills let away the drinking...
I like my yummy weed more than any other - um - pleasure..
Bis zum nächsten Mal

hopefully yayati didn't bother you that much... lol ... what a jerk

which part of yours is german ?
watching your av i couldn't decide ;)
you can't speek any german ? no prob - I am multilingual- lol
Lit and the Board are english, this thread is english too.
I love internet for the chance to meet people from all over our planet.

So here is the first lesson: hello is just "hallo" - simple as that.

Which part of Canada are you from or living now ?
never been there myself.
One of my friends immigrated 2 years ago. He lives somewhere in BC, Banff area. He is into fishing and hunting. Wonder if i'll have the chance to visit him some day. Heli-skiing in the Rockies is one of my dreams...

Nice to meet you. Come back here every now and then and feel free to post.

Rex :rose:

Oh you are a sweetheart. (No that idiot didn't bother me at all, <shrugs> you meet all kinds here.)

My fathers side is German. My mother's side is Irish and Scottish, I believe a tad of english is there too, I'm not sure tho'.

I live in Manitoba, which is pretty much the middle of Canada. No mountains or anything that spectacular around here. :)

oooooo, A lesson. Let me try it "Hallo" How did I do? When do I get another lesson? What else can you teach me? ;) :p

German/Irish/Scotch - what a hot mixture ;)

Ok - next lesson - my name is sex&diamonds - now after me:
"Mein Name ist Sex&Diamanten" - please repeat..

I'm not German, but I breed German (Oldenburg) horses. Does that count :)

Age: 42
Seriously involved
5'7"/169 cm, 135#/61.24 kg, 38C-27-36
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Interest: Horse back riding, obviously :D But, I can always use a "leg up" regardless of what I may be riding...

I enjoy the variety here as well as the wit...
And, as my SO is 3000 miles away <lonely sigh>, sexual tension needs relief somehow, somewhere...

Hallo Rex,

Ja, ja - das ist richtig. Ich habe schon Andechs doppelbock getrunken. Ich habe drei oder vier flaschen mehr. Ich habe nach Muenchen geflogen und diese flaschen gekauft und nach NY umgeflogen.

Sorry for the conjugation errors...it's been a while since I had to think of this many words in German ;) I like good beer, and always keep some of the good stuff on hand. I usually pick them up while traveling..my luggage gets very heavy. Once bought an entire case at the brewery, and brought the case of Andechser (plastic holder and all) back in my luggage (a big suitcase!)

As for Heffeweizen, my 2 favorites are Schneiderweiss and Weihenstephen.

Yummy weed, ehh ? Is that legal or just tolerate in Germany ? I've certainly had a lot of fun in Amsterdam. :)
Grasshopper, Melk Weg club (space cakes!), many others. I'm trying to remember the name of the coffee shop I liked the best (memory fails me for some reason ;) ) Run by a drop out from the Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison....maybe it was Hunter's Bar ? I just can't get that neuron to fire off tonight!

Bis Spater,

Hi there LegUp,

I've bred with a German girl, does that count ;)
If you ever need some relief from the tension of your LDR, just let me know

Ya, ya....das es gut.

Understand it better than I speak it:rolleyes:

And, thank you for your kind offer... I'm always up for some cyber lovin'. Well actually, I'm always up for some real, skin to skin lovin' too, ...<wicked grin> but, I'll take what tidbits are offered.. 9 weeks and counting. Have I mentioned how much I hate LDR?? So, Griffin...do tell. What "are" your preferences? Inquiring randy, horny lil' minds wanna know.

Hallo, Rex......

Thought I'd jump in here as an American of German heritage. Our family name until the early 1900's was "von Kolkow" (located I think way up NE near the Polish border).

We live in SW Florida near Cape Coral which has become a vacation Mecca for Germans. It's not in the least unusual to see homes flying the German flag proudly under the Stars and Stripes! We're starting to get good German bakeries and restaurants because the influx is so great, can't beat that!

welcome RhumbRunner13 - nice to meet you here
even though it's no political thread (see Legup and griffon) :)

I guess "von Kolkow" is part of what we call the old "Land Nobility" when germans seddled there by the prussian kings.
I know the FtMyers/CapeCoral area quite well. Been there aprox. 10 times. Rented waterfront house and a motorboat. Love to go to Captiva and Sunibel Islands waterskiing and having some beach fun. Hooters in FtMyers ! And Edison's was my first mall I've ever visited. Hopefully the german influence is not that big. Lol
Stay tuned

Germans.

"Hopefully the german influence is not that big. Lol "

Not in the least! They make great neighbors and a welcome addition to our communities. You know all the spots so I won't give you a "cyber tour". Have you tried "The Oak Tree" out near Chiquita and CC Parkway in the Cape?

Well, the sig line says it all...but interaction is ALWAYS welcome. And of course, riding is essential...with or without the horse <lascivious smile>...Gotta stay in shape somehow...

Thank you for the welcome.
