ah candles, something I've actually played with a little, though mostly on self. One way to control the heat is to vary the distance from the skin. plus its a lovely mind fuck to watch the drops fall. Sorry if this has already been mentioned I read through but I'm a little past my bedtime here.

You must be across the pond then or further. One nasty thing about wax play is if your hairy removal of the wax is just another jolt of pain. I am with Fury and I want someone to do it to me. Distance helps but some of the candles seem to burn hotter then others, but its nice to see another person who enjoys a "hot" experience.

And yes definately different waxes burn hotter. Just figured that had been covered. Oh, and don't use beeswax! haven't done it but I hear its way to hot that and the soy candles. The colored ones sometimes the outside catches fire its sometimes more than wax and of course the oils in the scented burn hotter and can spit (think bacon in a frying pan).


better? *grin* oh and yes of course its more fun with someone else... but sometimes we make do, hmm? personally much as the candles mesmerize me I'd rather be spilling the wax on someone else...

I was totally warned not to play with beeswax but never heard of a soy candle at all. With the scented ones with time and experience you could learn what kind are ok to use and what should not be used. Lets face it though you might have a higher desire for pain so a scented candle would hieghten your pleasure but if your a newbie unscented white would work just as well.

I really want June 17 to roll around so I can do a newbie night and try wax and needle play at the same time at the hands of someone experienced. Then there is beginning rope bondage, violent wands and so forth...

good point with the pain I"m one of those who doesn't care for it so the temperature play and the fire are what drew me. hmmm, maybe someone can come up with a heat index for specific candles. Then again, there is fun in the experimentation as well.

It just so happened I liked the red candle I grabbed to play with the first time I tried wax play. I have no idea what it was made of but the melted wax looked a lot like blood, which I thought was pretty nifty, and it felt great too.

We have been chatting online with a local Dom who's willing to play with me while showing him the ropes so to speak (literally, as he's into the Japanese rope bondage). We're getting very close to actually meeting in person and I'm so excited! playing with fire

So its Monday night again and this time it was a fire and ice demo. The ice part was first and sort of interesting, I mean I did learn a few fun facts. One fun thing I did not really think of was the use of canned air, hold it upside down and then give the body very short bursts and it has an awfully chilling effect.

But most of the time was spent playing with fire. The first thing he did was use q-tips and 70% alchol. He used the finger rubbers, like bankers or secretaries use to count bills or papers, he then ran the q-tips on your skin. Yes it can burn your hair, when he did me he burnt some of my hair and lightly toasted the skin on my chest. The other thing I let him do to me was he took a torch and heated a dentist tool up and poke me with it at first. That was really nothing at all for me, so then he reheated it and made stripes on my right arm. The endorphin rush kicked in and I felt great. The took a poi(sp), think of a ball in chain from prison movies, but the ball is just the size of your fist, and he used it on 2 guys and 2 gals. You could feel the heat of the flame from about a foot away, it was kerosine. You also heard him spinning it over and around the vitim's naked body. It sounded like one of the ladies was near or had an orgasm just from him swinging it between her legs.

Of course the swinging fire and using stuff like binaca/lighter combo you might want to have some more experience in fire play before you do it. So far it was the best demo I have seen and worth more then the membership and activity fee. If your a masochist like me then you might want to try this, if not then be forewarned it can be a little painful depending on what your doing

The night I went, the guy doing the demo and I got to talking. He asked if I'd seen fire cupping. I said no. I told him I'd researched it. I told I'd written about it but I hadn't seen it and I'd like to. So he did a demo of that TOO!

And the way he did it? Wow! Not the way I imagined it exactly. He was very edgy with it. He made it deliberately hurt more suction wise than it had to. I could tell. Of course his sub knew what to expect and was into that sort of thing or so it seemed to me.

Fire cupping?? I had never heard of that. I will say around here the Master that did the demo is well known for his expertise with fire play and most of what he showed us was stuff you would need a mentor and extra training for so you could do it safely.

I will say that the branding fire thing he did to me hurts alot more now then last night just for the fact that my shirt rubs where he did it. He also dotted my skin over 9 times some are more visibable then others but that is nothing compared to the other. I am hoping to see him in say another 6 months and let him brand my initials into my arm.

Yes, fire cupping, it's pretty cool but I had imagined it much less violently done than what I saw.

Branding? Wow. You will try some things I would not. At least not without the right person and purpose for me.

I could see it being spiritual or religious for some. Fire is very symbolic in many contexts.

Fury you did not explain what fire cupping is though and I need it as I did not see that in the demo. I do not like black everyone posts in black its so boring, I don't know if its branding only time will tell but it could be the start of what branding might be like. He got the metal to an orange and maybe for a more permenant brand you need it hotter, eek. I use magenta because we all know she was a big huge slut and she was my most favorite character too. If you have a preference of color other then black speak now or forever hold your peace Fury.
