Zipman's thread got me thinking, who are our experts here at Lit?

There are certain subjects, that, as they pop up you can expect certain members to appear and share their knowledge with us.

For instance, when it comes to firearms, the undisputed expert here at lit is The Heretic. I know this because I have seen him literally dismember (very politely) other people on this board in arguments on the subject.

The legal beagles are obviously Lavender, Lance, and Mischka.

Our resident "violent uprising and subsequent overthrow of the imperialist U.S. government fantasy" expert is redrave. He has done an incredible amount of wishing on this.

DCL is our resident "in-the-know" guy on all things Hollywood.

Yayati knows a lot about racial purity of Indians. Sieg Heil.

Who are the other experts here?

I would venture to say I know more about Carp than anyone else on the board. We all have to be good at something :)

I'm pretty famous for my "not working starting lines" if that counts.

Mouse has helped a lot of people with jazz music, so has JazzManJim. Laurel, Weevil and Mouse are usually my music experts. :)

I don't know how I feel being grouped in with redrave and yayaidiot, but the rest of the "experts" I am honored to be associated with. I do know a bit about motorcycles and software engineering, but I will bow to Weird Harold, Draco and others when it comes to hardware and tech support of computers. Having a EE, I used to know quite a bit about electronics, but while I still have the big picture in my mind, it has been so long since I applied this that it would take me a while just to remember Ohms law again.

May I have a transfer from the Legal Department, please?

I'd like to look after the Canadian Propaganda Secretariat with responsibility over the Anti-Clique Advisory Group & Dom/sub Foreign Affairs Group, please.

I'm presently assigned, for example, to the Sunstruck-Lasher Axis of Sarcasm and feel that I cannot complete my work or properly curry favour within the extramarital affairs intelligence community while attached to the Lavender/Mischka orifices.

Thank you

Lance

WH is an expert on just about everything. :D

I know lots about automobiles but I would not say I was an expert.

My mind is a steel trap for useless and random bits of information.

I know how to acquire and maintain a steely sixpaq! :)

I have photos to prove it. If ever I decide to put a pic up again of myself, I will definately include the now legendary sixpaq. It has to be seen to BE believed.

GOOD GOSH THIS PICKLE SURE IS SPICY!!! I AM SWEATING LIKE A 500 IBLS BLACK WATERBUFFALO ON HEAT!!! THIS FISH CURRY IS XTRA SPICY!!! SOMEONE GET ME SOME WATER QUICK!!!! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Yayati, if that is who you really are, you would know that water will, at best, simply move the chemicals in spicy food around in your mouth, not dilute them at all. Who are you really?
