Biden Admin ‘Enabled’ Islamic Terror Groups Now Attacking US And Allies, Defense Experts Say​

The Biden administration spent several years emboldening Islamic entities and nations that are currently in conflict with the U.S. and its Western allies, defense experts say.

Coalition naval and air forces launched a retaliatory strike against the Houthis for the first time on Thursday, underscoring months of broader conflict in the Middle East between the U.S., Israel and other Western allies against extremist Islamic groups. Some of these nations and groups have benefitted from the Biden administration’s foreign policy through sanctions relief and aid.

“Biden administration policies have weakened the strategic security and economic interests of the U.S. and our allies in the Middle East – with deadly consequences,” Michael Bars, former Trump White House senior communications advisor and National Security Council official, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Such is the case with the Houthis, a Yemini-based militant group backed by Iran. In an apparent show of support for Hamas’ fight against Israel, the Houthis have launched dozens of attacks in the Red Sea against commercial vessels since October 2023. U.S. forces in the region have often had to intervene in these attacks; in one case, a naval warship had to act in “self-defense” after being fired upon by the Houthis on Jan. 6, and Navy helicopters took similar actions against the militant group in a firefight in December.

WASHINGTON — US federal employees across nearly two dozen agencies plan to walk off the job Tuesday to protest the Biden administration’s handling of the Gaza war, according to organizers of the dissent effort who spoke to Al-Monitor.

The group — calling itself Feds United for Peace — consists of dozens of government employees who will be observing a “Day of Mourning” to mark 100 days of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza. The organizers, who are choosing to remain anonymous, say they expect “easily hundreds” of others to join in their walkout after securing commitments from individuals at 22 federal agencies.

Former President Donald Trump questioned whether terrorists were using the U.S. southern border to enter the country illegally one day before an alleged Afghan terrorist entered the U.S.

Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, has been charged with “providing, attempting to provide, and conspiracy to provide material support and resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization” and “knowingly receiving, conspiring to receive, and attempting to receive firearms and ammunition to be used to commit a felony or Federal crime of terrorism.”


Tawhedi allegedly entered the U.S. on September 9, 2021, on a special immigration visa granted by the Biden-Harris administration. The night before, September 8, Trump appeared on Fox News’ “Gutfeld!” where he told host Greg Gutfeld that the U.S. doesn’t know how many terrorists it’s letting into the country.

“The country has never been more unsafe,” Trump said during the appearance. “People are pouring in through our southern border, which everyone’s forgetting about right now because of the travesty of Afghanistan. And if you look at the people coming in by the hundreds, by the thousands – and these are not the people necessarily that wanted the protection. These are people – so, are they terrorists? How many terrorists are coming in?”
