There should be no kerfuffle about that; they’re against the rules, but it’s never been enforcedI've only seen one kerfuffle in the past two days and it's been about cockatars.

With how this place can get I don't know if I want it. I'm kinda enjoying the positivity atm.My random (not quite random) thought is that the 'Dislike' button / reaction (seeing that it's possible to be added) should be entirely available for usage.

Through most of social media I totally agree. The playground is a bit of a safe place for me, and conversely has a propensity towards toxic behaviour. Now I appreciate that a dislike button can resolve that, but just in the last few days it seems so much more positive that I'd be loathe to change it needlessly. This sort of 'yes-man' and adulation culture current is an unhealthy illusion. Getting a reality check, once in a while, never hurt anyone. Just like a well-spoken and timely 'No'.
I definitely agree with what you’re saying, but I can see how it could affect some adversely here. Personally, it wouldn’t stop me, but I could see it being a detractor for some. This sort of 'yes-man' and adulation culture current is an unhealthy illusion. 100% with reference to the playground.Through most of social media I totally agree. The playground is a bit of a safe place for me, and conversely has a propensity towards toxic behaviour. Assuming you're still referring to the previous conversation that is.
In no way am I disagreeing with that, as we have seen it happen countless times here with the unneeded drama. If people want to descend into spiteful, ill-willed disagreements, they will, here or anywhere else. It won't be a 'dislike' button that will solely prompt that.
My stance remains the same, as it would be nice to have a feature (akin to the 'Like' reaction) that would allow me to make a point across with minimal interaction (read: without having to post a post).
I’m here on lit for fun and I don’t take anything serious. I don’t get drawn into the drama, I just laugh it off. If I don’t like something, I look past it and keep moving.
I get it. Not saying you're wrong, just stating a preference. If people want to descend into spiteful, ill-willed disagreements, they will, here or anywhere else. It won't be a 'dislike' button that will solely prompt that.

That is the beauty of this place, everyone does it their own wayYour way of "Lit-ing" is your way alone. I care not for it. I care about my way of "Lit-ing". Personally, it would be nice to have that option, if it is available.
